Introduction

This release note applies to all 7.6 releases of Workforce Management Configuration Utility for the Chinese (Simplified) market.

New in This Release

This is a generally available release for the Chinese (Simplified) market. This localization is based on Workforce Management Configuration Utility 7.6.000.09. Modifications to this software component in later software versions are not supported in this localized version.

When you create an activity, the label to the right of the Skill Levels combo box no longer truncates the skill name. (ER# 211409669)

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 7.6 release of Workforce Management Configuration Utility.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications that were made between Release 7.5 or earlier releases and the initial 7.6 release:


A Rotating Pattern is now assigned to the selected Agents without warnings if the Use Shift Time option is selected in the Weekly Pattern and at least one good combination of the selected Shift Start and Shift End values and the selected Activities Open Hours exists. (ER# 169147862, 168304496)


The database clean-up operation no longer stops when it reaches terminated Agents with Schedules and/or Calendar Items. (ER# 134055527)


It is impossible to select an overnight shift in a weekly pattern if the combination of that shift and its associated meals results in a Shift Start Time of exactly 24:00. (ER# 175692471)

(2) Time display is truncated when editing a shift from Web Supervisor (ER#211409661) => This will not be fixed in 7.6.0. It has not been decided if it will be fixed in 7.6.1 or 8.0. (ER# 211409669)

Clicking the spacebar causes an unexpected error if the focus is in an empty check tree—containing no configured Meals or Breaks—under the Policies > Shift module Shift object Shift Items tab. (ER# 200826828)

The keyboard up and down arrow keys do not adjust the value Minimum Working Days per Week for contracts in the Policies > Contracts module. Workaround: Click the GUI spin buttons with your mouse or enter the value manually. (ER# 200826821)

If changes that were made to object properties during synchronization cannot be saved, WFM Configuration Utility incorrectly displays a second object properties window that cannot be closed. Workaround: Close and reopen WFM Configuration Utility. (ER# 198646945)

The Employee ID column in the Selected Agents and Available Agents lists in the Configuration > Organization module Site properties window is too narrow to display some localized text. Workaround: Increase the column width manually. (ER# 166892516)

The User Name column in the WFM Users and Configuration Manager Users lists in the Configuration > User Security module is too narrow to display some localized text. Workaround: Increase the column width manually. (ER# 166764043)

After the connection to the WFM database is broken and then restored while you are deleting an activity or editing a shift:
