New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains the following new functionality:

This hotfix provides a new default cmp.script_timeout value, allowing a longer timeout value when the CMP Proxy is freshly installed. For an already installed CMP Proxy, a customer can use the following procedure to increase their script_timeout:

  1. Make the change of the /usr/local/cmp-proxy/config/cmp-proxy.xml as follows: in the following <parameter> section:
    <parameter name="cmp.script_timeout" default="300" dynamic="true">
       <description>Maximum amount of time(seconds) that a script can run before it times out and is stopped</description>
          <format style="integer"/>
             <validation default="reject" errormsg="The rollover interval must between 10-600">
                 <rule type="accept" range="10-600"/>
              </validation>
    </parameter>

    Change the "default" value in the <parameter> element to 1200, and the ranges in the <validation> and <rule> elements from 10-600 to 10-1800.

  2. Use CLC command cfgxmladd to upload the changed file (see Section 7.3 Cfgxmladd of OA&M Framework - CLC User's Guide), e.g.,

    cfgxmladd cmpproxy "RHEL4" 7.2.2 /usr/local/cmp-proxy/config/cmp-proxy.xml

  3. Change the cmp.script_timeout configuration of cmpproxy to 1200.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following correction and modification:
