There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of Genesys Training Manager.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications that were made between Release 8.1 or earlier releases and the initial 8.1.1 release:


Agent Selection—fixed an issue whereby selecting agents by skill from WFM was not functioning.


Algorithm—fixed an issue in the meeting and one to one algorithms whereby a monthly recurring meeting could book two sessions in the same month.


Algorithm—fixed an issue in the meeting and one to one algorithms whereby long training exception codes are truncated by the algorithms.


Meetings—fixed an issue where a prompt was being shown too frequently when deleting meetings.


Schedule Events—interruptible activities can now be selected regardless of whether any users are selected within User Selection.


Trainer Setup—fixed an issue whereby the "egg timer" was displayed when hovering the mouse over the Thursday end time of the Trainer Working Days screen.


Training Requests—when a new request is created which falls outside the currently selected date range filter, the error message is now more descriptive.


Training Requests—fixed an issue whereby it was possible to bypass Training Request start tab validation.


Training Requests—fixed an issue which prevented the deletion of training events.


Training Sessions—when viewing training sessions on a list view of sessions, clicking to sort by date now works correctly.

This release includes the following corrections and modifications that were made between Release 8.0 or earlier releases and the initial 8.1 release:


Issue resolved where meetings could "change" team if the user selection screen was loaded for a previous meeting.


Issue resolved where algorithm would book over the top of recurring calendar items.


Issue resolved in the Web Portal where trainer managers could not view their own calendars.


Issue resolved in Training Portal whereby previous Z-Order fix prevented from using Telerik TreeView on a PostBack.
