New in This Release

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of SIP Endpoint SDK for Apple OS.

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

SIP Endpoint SDK log files now contain only the correct logging messages for the specified level. Previously, debug and info messages would appear even for logging levels that do not include those messages. (ER# 297079118)

If Transport Layer Security (TLS) and the Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) are configured, secureSignalingQos bits now appear properly in the IP Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) headers of the SIP packets when the secureSignallingQos bits have been set. Previously these bits would not appear, even if the secureSignallingQos bits had been set properly. (ER# 297026935)

Active SIP Endpoint SDK instances no longer crash when a USB headset is presented or removed. Previously, SIP Endpoint SDK instances would crash under those circumstances. (ER# 297026931)

INVITE messages issued by SIP Endpoint SDK no longer require the invited party to use SRTP when TLS is enabled and use_srtp has been set to optional. Previously, when an outbound call was made from SIP Endpoint SDK with TLS enabled and use_srtp set to optional, the call would fail if it was made to an endpoint that did not support SRTP. (ER# 297026939)

SIP Endpoint SDK now sends an UNREGISTER request when it is being shut down. Previously, an UNREGISTER request would not be sent on shutdown. (ER# 297079113)
