This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.
This release contains the following corrections and modifications:
Starting in this release, Security Pack on UNIX allows selected applications (such as SIP Server 8.1.101.28 and later) to specify the preferred secure protocol on some of their connections. If an application does not utilize this capability, then Security Pack uses the SSLv2 hello message and setup protocol based on the results of negotiation of the highest available protocol between client and server. This is also the default behavior of previous versions.
For example, refer to the SIP Server 8.1.x Release Note for information about how SIP Server enables this capability using a new configuration option.
(MFWK-15774)
An application that uses Security Pack on UNIX to set up secure client connections no longer terminates unexpectedly when retrieving a server certificate that is part of a certificate chain. (MFWK-15729)
