Introduction

This release note applies to all 7.2 releases of Voice Reporting Templates. Information will be added to this release note as subsequent versions of the component are released. To help you identify the specific differences in releases, the release note includes new features and corrections and modifications for each release. Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. A table in the Contents section lists at a high level the supported operating systems for each release. For more detailed information, see the Genesys Supported Operating Systems and Databases Reference Manual.

The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list with the most recent items at the top of the list. This list includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.

The Discontinued Support section is also a cumulative list with the most recent items at the top of the list. This list includes functionality that is no longer supported and the release number of the version in which support was discontinued.

Note: Genesys solutions may sometimes utilize functionality from commercial or non-commercial third parties, when such solutions are determined to provide quality approaches to items Genesys would otherwise have to raise costs to implement.

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 7.2 release of Voice Reporting Templates.

Corrections and Modifications

No corrections and modifications were made between Release 7.1 or earlier releases and the initial 7.2 release.

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.


Several CCPulse+ metrics may produce incorrect results due to an error in a formula. To fix this problem you must replace result.Duration with result.Long and update the template.

The templates and metrics affected are:

KPI report templates include an incorrect time profile: Collector Default instead of Default. This resets all the collected statistics to zero every fifteen minutes in CCPulse+. Change the time profile to either Default or another preferred time profile. (ER# 50075271)

Found In:  7.2.000.01 Fixed In: 

The name of the stat type NotReadyAgentsRatio is misleading. This statistic actually calculates the ratio of ready agents. It is recommended that you rename this stat type to ReadyAgentsRatio and reassign it to real-time and historical templates. (ER# 45362007)

Update the Stat Type definition CurrAgentsReadyRatio as follows:

Historical metrics VOICE_LOGIN_T and VOICE_READY_T used in the VOICE_GQ, VOICE_Q, and VOICE_RP ODS Layout Templates do not calculate correct values and should be ignored. (ER# 51878231)

The KPI Queue template metrics Total LogIn Time and Total Ready Time are not correct and should be ignored or removed from the template. (ER# 52965981)

You must follow these steps to successfully upgrade your voice reporting templates to 7.2 from 7.0.1 or older (this note does not apply to upgrading 7.1 reporting templates):

  1. Install Stat Server Wizard 7.0.3 or later (7.2 is preferable).
  2. Run the Data Sourcer Wizard to upgrade your Data Sourcer application object.
  3. If prompted to choose old or new definitions for the Total_Time_To_Distribute and Total_Time_To_Abandon stat types, choose the new definitions. (Case is important!)
