Release Advisory

As of February 1, 2012, Genesys is no longer an affiliate of Alcatel-Lucent; any indication of such affiliation within Genesys products or packaging is no longer applicable. Please see the Genesys website at http://www.genesys.com for more details.

The following information applies to Genesys 8.1.x software and is important for you to note:

Genesys follows applicable third-party redistribution policies to the extent that Genesys solutions utilize functionality of commercial or non-commercial third parties. For specific information on any third-party software used in this product, see the Read Me.

If your deployment includes Genesys Info Mart 8.5.0 or later, the following RAA metrics are not populated by default:

• AG2_ID_*.ACCEPTED_THREAD
• AG2_AGENT_*.ACCEPTED_THREAD
• AG2_AGENT_GRP_*.ACCEPTED_THREAD

To populate these metrics, you must enable the Genesys Info Mart config option, gim-etl-populate\populate-thread-facts, which is disabled be default. In earlier Genesys Info Mart releases, these metrics were automatically populated.

RAA supports the following GI2 releases:

• RAA release 8.1.405.11 (and later) supports GI2 release 8.1.106.05 (and later 8.1.1 releases).
• RAA release 8.1.405.09 supports GI2 release 8.1.106.02 and GI2 release 8.1.405.05 (and later 8.1.4 releases).
• RAA release 8.1.405.02 supports GI2 release 8.1.105.01 and GI2 release 8.1.405.02.
• In previous releases, GI2 8.1.1 and 8.1.4 required separate RAA releases.

RAA release 8.1.104 requires Java 1.7.

RAA release 8.1.4 requires Java 1.7.

RAA 8.1 is an optional add-on to Genesys Info Mart 8.1 and a mandatory component of Genesys Interactive Insights. Genesys Info Mart must be installed and operational prior to RAA installation.

• RAA release 8.1.000.12 supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.000.25.
• RAA release 8.1.001.02 supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.001.01 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.100.19 supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.101.05 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.100.30 supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.102.02 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.100.31 (and later) supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.103.03 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.104.11 (and later) supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.400.12 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.400.23 (and later) supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.400.12 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.405.02 (and later) supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.1.402.07 (and later).
• RAA release 8.1.405.11 (and later) supports Genesys Info Mart release 8.5.002.11 (and later).

If—at the recommendation of Genesys personnel—you upgrade your JDBC driver to a version other than that which is deployed by RAA 8.1, then in addition to copying this driver to the location specified by Genesys Info Mart 8.1 and/or updating any environment variables that point to it, you must also place it in the \agg\lib subdirectory for RAA's use and overwrite the existing driver that is in this location. The file name of the JDBC driver must be as follows:

8.1.3 and earlier:

• ojdbc6.jar, for Oracle
• sqljdbc4.jar, for Microsoft SQL Server

8.1.4 and later:

• ojdbc6-11.2.0.3.jar, for Oracle
• sqljdbc4-3.0.jar, for Microsoft SQL Server
• postgresql-9.3-1101.jdbc41.jar, for PostgreSQL
