The following information applies to Genesys 8.0.x software and is important for you to note:


Genesys follows applicable third-party redistribution policies to the extent that Genesys solutions utilize functionality of commercial or non-commercial third parties. For specific information on any third-party software used in this product, see the Read Me.


Please consult the specific Release Note for known issues and recommendations related to your product.


For Genesys Advisors products, in order for the multi-channel metrics to work in Genesys Advisors 8.0, a business attribute called MediaType is added to call/interaction-related statistics. This attribute can take on one of three values: voice, e-mail, or chat. In Stat Server 7.6, this media type attribute is not recognized for voice, but works for e-mail or chat. Therefore, multi-channel metrics cannot be retrieved together in Stat Server 7.6; Advisors 8.0 must use Stat Server 8.0 or above.


The ReadMe.htm file on the CD contains the following incorrect statement:

"The Genesys Adapter (GC) is a data source product that pulls data from the Genesys environment and publishes statistics to Frontline Advisor."

The statement should read:

"The Genesys Adapter (AGA) is a data source product that pulls data from the Genesys environment and publishes statistics to Contact Center Advisor, Workforce Advisor and Frontline Advisor/Agent Advisor."
