Corrections and Modifications
This release of Network T-Server is built with Programmable Gateway Framework (PGF) release number 8.1.000.07. Consult the PGF release note for information on changes that may affect the functionality of your particular type of Network T-Server.
There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.1 release of Network T-Server for AT&T.
As of June 2017, Network T-Server is supported on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 platform. T-Server was tested on a 64-bit platform with Dialogic NaturalAccess Development Environment v. 9.0.8 and Dialogic NaturalAccess Signalling Software v. 5.3 in 32-bit compatibility mode. The rpm packages listed by Dialogic as prerequisites in their release note (https://www.dialogic.com/files/natural-access/9.0.8/66-0322_readme.txt) must be installed on the system, as well as compat-libstdc++-33.i686, which is required by T-Server.
Network T-Server is now supported on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 64-bit platform.
Network T-Server supports version 9.0 of Natural Access software. (ER# 268400553)

The International Dialing Plan implementation in versions 4.1 and 4.2 of the NMS SS7 stack is not fully compatible with AT&T encoding. The Network T-Server for AT&T cannot properly process messages with attributes corresponding to the International Dialing Plan.

The AT&T test case MTP5.1, Part C is known to fail. As a result, some STP traffic can be lost under link switchover conditions. If this limitation is deemed critical for your deployment, Genesys recommends that you contact NMS Support at www.nmscommunications.com and place a support call.

Network T-Servers do not support warm or hot standby. Instead, they use a load sharing redundancy schema. See the Framework 8.1 Network T-Server Deployment Guide for your T-Server for more information.

Running the Network T-Server for AT&T on the Solaris operating system requires the installation of certain patches to the C++ runtime libraries. The required patches can be obtained in one of two ways:
Install the latest "Recommended and Security Patches" from Sun Microsystems located on the SunSolve web site at http://sunsolve.sun.com/show.do?target=patchpage.
