Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.


When Training Server runs on Solaris, Training Server might lose connection with Message Server because of an Advanced Disconnect Detection Protocol (ADDP) timeout. (ER# 247312990)

Workaround: Set the remote ADDP timeout to a value that is less than the local ADDP timeout multiplied by two, or disable ADDP entirely by setting the local timeout to 0.

Found In: 8.0.100.02 Fixed In: 

Sometimes you cannot launch Training Server through Remote Desktop. (ER# 113562696)

Workaround: Decrease the value of the -Xmx1000m parameter in the ProcessParameters.ini file.

Found In: 7.5.000.05 Fixed In: 

If a memory problem occurs while a training job is running, you might not be able to cancel the job properly from Knowledge Manager. If this occurs, Knowledge Manager will display the job type as Cancelled and the status as Job Processing. (ER# 33383023)

Workaround: Stop Training Server.
