Corrections and Modifications
This is a hot fix release of this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.
This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
Knowledge Manager can now log in to a Configuration Server whose name is something other
than the default, confserv.
(ER# 305435077)
In this release, the Approve Standard Response and Modify Standard Response privileges are independent of each other. Previously, Approve Standard Response did not work unless Modify Standard Response was assigned as well. (ER# 295719904)
Note: To enable a Person to modify standard responses, you must assign both the View Standard Response and the Modify Standard Response tasks to them. To enable a Person to approve standard responses, you must assign them (a) the Approve Standard Response task and (b) either the View Standard Response or the Create Standard Response task.
Knowledge Manager no longer keeps trying to connect to Configuration Server after
receiving a User not found
message.
(ER# 294686474)
When testing screening rules against the UCS database,
Knowledge Manager no longer returns false positives.
Previously, when testing a rule that included the negative operator [!],
such as !Find("account"),
which asks for items that do not contain the string account,
Knowledge Manager would incorrectly return items that
did contain the string as well as items that did not.
When testing against specially-created texts, Knowledge Manager previously behaved correctly and continues to do so. (ER# 302207194)
HTML files whose names contain accented characters
can now be imported
into the HTML part
tab of a standard response.

The Description attribute of standard responses must be no more than 254 characters. However, you should use caution when giving this attribute a value which approaches the limit. An issue in Configuration Server causes it to consider any single quote character in these attributes to be two characters. Therefore, a Description of exactly 254 characters that includes a single quote character is converted to more than 254 characters, and so is not stored in the Configuration Server database.
