When an Agent comments on a Facebook interaction, the Case Data attached to the incoming interaction is now propagated to the outbound comment. In this new implementation, the Interaction Server option ignore-read-only-on-change must be set to true. The parent interaction's attached data is not copied to interactions created from the contact history. (SMD-1969)

In the scenario in which an e-mail or Twitter message is created from a Facebook interaction and the Delete button is clicked in the Facebook interaction window, the Facebook interaction window now closes. Previously, the Facebook interaction window remained open and could not be closed. (SMD-1247)

Known Issues and Recommendations

Role-based permissions for the Facebook Session Mode media type are missing from the XML metadata file for the Interaction Workspace Plug-in for Facebook.

Workaround: To enable the FacebookDMSession role privileges to appear under Interaction Workspace, add the following tasks to the IWSPluginForFacebook_812.xml file:

When using the Interaction Workspace option keyboard.shortcut.interaction.facebooksession.transfer, you should be aware that if you specify a shortcut that is reserved by Microsoft Rich Edit Controls, that shortcut will not work. These shorcuts are listed at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb787873(v=vs.85).aspx#rich_edit_shortcut_keys.

The time shown at the beginning of an incoming private message is the time that the Genesys system opened its session with Facebook, rather than the time that the message was sent from Facebook. (ER# 315201793)

The application templates for Interaction Workspace Plug-in for Facebook are missing from the Genesys Social Messaging Management product CD. You can obtain them by downloading the installation package from My Customer Care Software Downloads and opening the templates folder. The filenames are IWSPluginForFacebook_811.apd and IWSPluginForFacebook_811.xml.

Processing of comment interactions—that is, interactions that consist of a comment on another interaction—is not supported. (ER# 285892818)

Replies to comments include a link to the comment, but the link text is incorrect. For example, if there are two comments, replies to both Comment 1 and Comment 2 include links reading "Comments: 2-2(of 2)." (ER# 290455624)
