Introduction

This release note applies to all 8.5 releases of License Reporting Manager Plug-in for GAX.

• Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.
• The Release Number table lists the supported operating systems for each release at a high level. For more detailed information, see the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference Guide.
• The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.
• The Corrections and Modifications section for each release may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.
• The Discontinued Support section is cumulative. It lists functionality that is no longer supported and the release number of the version in which support was discontinued.

Use of Third-Party Software

Genesys follows applicable third-party redistribution policies to the extent that Genesys solutions utilize third-party functionality. For additional information on third-party software used in this product, see the Read Me. Please contact your Genesys Customer Care representative if you have any questions.

New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release does not contain new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release fixes the following issues associated with the Usage Reporting screen:

• Data for only one day is now displayed properly. Previously, if you requested data for only one day (that is, the values for the From and To fields were the same), no data was displayed at all. (LRM-517)

• When displaying data by tenant, the Environment tenant is always shown when selecting a tenant, but if the user does not have permissions to view the Environment tenant, it is not selectable. Previously, the user could select, and therefore view, the Environment tenant regardless of his or her permissions for it. (LRM-515)

• When displaying aggregate data, the button next to the Report button in the Report section is now labelled with an icon for selecting columns to show in the report. Previously, this button was not labelled. (LRM-513)

• When displaying aggregate data, the complete set of scroll bars is now displayed for the list of sellable items in the Report section. Previously, after you entered values in the From, To, Granularity, and Sellable Items fields, the vertical scroll bar was partially displayed and the horizontal scroll bar was completely hidden. You had to enlarge the screen to see the scroll bars in their entirety. (LRM-512)

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

The graph tooltip on the Reporting screen is displayed only in Chrome browsers. (LRM-481)

If you generate License Usage reports using Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer displays the usage data tables, but not the graphs. (LRM-477)

The License Usage Report displays records for all the Sellable Items and Bundles even when you choose no Sellable Items or Bundle or select Sellable Items or Bundles in the Count On selection. (LRM-389, ER# 320111212)
