This release includes the following corrections and modifications since the previous release of this software:
Previously, in some scenarios, business rules were not properly unloaded on undeployment, which lead to a growing number of Java classes. This issue has been resolved. (ER# 283736132)
iWD's Business Context Management Service now correctly uses the maxPriority
setting. Previously, 5000
was always used as the maximum priority, regardless of the value specified in the Business Context Management Service configuration. (ER# 282816324)

PSDK 8.0.200.10 has been integrated in iWD 8.0.002.11 to correct issues with the Business Context Management Service (BCMS) being unable to open a listening port. Based on the target OS, you could be required to switch the connection layers by providing the following Java parameters (when starting the application server that hosts the runtime node running BCMS):
com.genesyslab.platform.commons.connection.impl.netty.NettyConnectionFactory
or
com.genesyslab.platform.commons.connection.impl.mina.MinaConnectionFactory
In most cases iWD will work with the default settings. (ER# 270950420)

External Service
block in Genesys Interaction Routing Designer (IRD). This enables customers who are licensed for both iWD as well as an eServices solution to use iWD to apply classification and prioritization rules to eServices interactions such as e-mail or SMS interactions.

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.
Do not use the word end
in rule language expressions. Using end
causes rule parsing errors.
The Business Context Management Service ignores the setting of
maxPriority
. As a result, prioritization rules can set
priority value above that setting.
Workaround: Use a rule condition to check if priority is
<= the desired maximum value, before using a rule action that increases
priority. You can use the Priority is "{operator}" "{priority}"
condition that is supplied in the Standard Rules Template as a way to control
that the priority stays below a desired maximum. (ER# 269761260)

The Note on page 185 of the intelligent Workload Distribution
8.0 Deployment Guide is incorrect. The note should state
"Any of these steps are optional, however after Step 3 a process has
to be assigned, otherwise the task status will be changed to
ERROR_HELD
. For example, a department can be assigned in a
global rule or capture point rule, followed by assigning a process at the
department level. Alternatively, a process may be directly assigned in a
global rule or capture point rule. If a department or process is assigned
in both global and capture point rules based on the same conditions, the
capture point rules will override."
