Corrections and Modifications
The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.
There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of the intelligent Workload Distribution (iWD) Language Pack for the Latin American Spanish market.
This is the first release of the iWD Language Pack for the Latin American Spanish market. Language Packs enable installers to select the language in which the user interface and online help files are displayed.
This version of the iWD Language Pack for the Latin American Spanish market is supported by iWD 8.0.0 starting with version 8.0.003.16. It is not supported by iWD 8.1.0 or later releases. For information about changes that might affect the functionality of this Language Pack, see the iWD Manager Release Note 8.0.x.
Use the following procedure to install iWD language packs:
Stop your application server.
Install the English versions of all iWD Installation Packages (IPs) by following the instructions in the Genesys iWD 8.0 Deployment Guide. If you want to use the localized modules with localized rule templates for localized actions and conditions only, do not import the following default English configuration files:
Install the iWD Language Pack. The location of the installation files for the language pack will depend on the language that you are installing. All language packs are located on the CD, under /LangPack/[OperatingSystem]/[ThreeDigitLanguageCode]/
. For example, /LangPack/windows/ESN/
.
On the Product Configuration Option
page of the installation wizard, when prompted, select both iWD Manager
and iWD Runtime
.
The Language Pack installs files into the iwd_manager
and iwd_node
web applications within the webapps
directory under your application server. For a list of installed files and directories, see the section, Files Installed in the webapps
Directory Under the Application Server in this release.
Note: If the iwd_manager
and iwd_node
directories do not exist, they are created by the installation wizard.
Restart your application server.
Log into iWD Manager; open a web browser and navigate to http://app_server_host:port/iwd_manager/
.
Note: Optionally, you might want to import localized versions of the iWD configuration (XML) files. These files include a localized version of the iWD Standard Rules Template. See the Procedure: Importing & Using the Localized iWD Configuration Files on the iWD 8.0 Google site, https://sites.google.com/a/iwdlab.com/iwd8/localization
.
If you are importing the localized version of the iWD configuration files, you do not need to import the English version of the files, as described in the section "Importing iWD Configuration XML files", Chapter 3 in the iWD 8.0 Deployment Guide.
To run iWD Manager in multiple languages, see the Procedure: Running iWD Manager in Multiple Languages on the iWD 8.0 Google site, https://sites.google.com/a/iwdlab.com/iwd8/localization
.

These files are created under a new directory structure that did not exist in the base (English) versions of iWD Manager and the iWD Runtime Node. The only exception is the contents of the help
directory that is installed into the iwd_manager
web application. The existing contents of the help
directory are overwritten by the localized help pages.
If you previously renamed your iWD Manager web application from iwd_manager
to something else, you can copy the entire lang
folder from [application server home]\webapps\iwd_manager\WEB-INF\classes\
to your existing iWD Manager web application. Also, copy the entire help
directory from [application server home]\webapps\iwd_manager\
to your existing iWD Manager web application. Do the same for the localized files that were created under the iWD Runtime Node web application.
