intelligent Workload Distribution (iWD) 8.1 is integrated with Genesys Rules System (GRS) 8.1.1.
Documentation erratum:
The 8.1 Deployment Guide contains the following statement on page 43 which is misleading:
"Compatibility with URS and IRD
iWD 8.1 is compatible with Genesys Universal Routing Server (URS) 7.6 or higher. Interaction Routing Designer (IRD) 8.1.2 or higher is required for the provided business process (IWDBP) to work."
In fact, Universal Routing Server (URS) and Interaction Routing Designer (IRD) must be from the same release in order to work together. For example, you cannot run IRD 7.5 with URS 7.2; you cannot run IRD 7.5 with URS 7.6.

Documentation erratum:
The 8.1 Deployment Guide contains the following statement on page 130 which is incorrect:
"The user should not have any access to the Environment in Configuration Server unless they are an Administrative user who should have full permissions to iWD Manager. If you provide even Read access to the Environment, it will override any security policy you have configured for them in iWD Manager."
In fact, in iWD it is not possible to override security policy for the Environment tenant. Though note that providing Read access for all other tenants apart from Environment does override security policy for those tenants in IWD Manager.
