Corrections and Modifications
This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
Reporting Analytics and Aggregates now correctly calculates the following aggregate columns in all RAA hierarchies in which the columns are found:
CONSULT_RCV_WARM_ENGAGE_TIME CONSULT_RCV_ACC_WARM CONSULT_RCV_WARM_HOLD_TIME CONSULT_RCV_WARM_HOLD
Now, the formulas exclude the count and duration for the agent conference initiator in cases when the customer disconnected from the conference while the conference was still in progress. (ER# 282863782)

Corrections and Modifications
This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
In previous releases, the aggregation process stopped and would not restart without GIM restart whenever GIM configuration options were changed dynamically. Under these circumstances, errors similar to the following were logged:
15:33:54.575 Agg.Main Synchronizing time ranges, options or disabled hierarchies 15:33:54.575 Agg.Main Unable to synchronize time ranges, options or disabled hierarchies 15:33:54.575 Agg.Main java.lang.NullPointerException
This version corrects this behavior. (ER# 274364795)

Corrections and Modifications
This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
No longer will you see the GIM Server fail with an out-of-memory error because of repeated aggregation restarts where the restarts are issued manually, via the configured GIM aggregation schedule, or via GIM maintenance (which also indirectly restarts aggregation). (ER# 273147313)

Corrections and Modifications
This release is under shipping control. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of Reporting and Analytics Aggregates.
AG2_AGENT_CAMPAIGN
and AG2_CAMPAIGN
hierarchies, queries, and tables
have been added to RAA schema in this release. This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
This release adds the AGR_NOTIFICATION
aggregation request table:
PENDING_AGR
table andIn previous releases, Job_TransformGIM
, at times, hanged upon receipt of notifications
when aggregation was not initialized, for example, or under those circumstances when error resulted during
initialization of aggregation. The addition of the AGR_NOTIFICATION
table to the RAA schema
corrects this issue. (ER# 268122093)
In previous 8.0 releases, the gim_agg_application_options.cfg
configuration file contained
an option (date-time-calendar-name
) that was not recognized by GIM Server. This option has been
removed from the configuration file (as have all other DATE_TIME
options—RAA relies on
GIM defaults for this section). (SR# 486308)
The installation routine now installs RAA as a plugin to Genesys Info Mart (GIM). Previously, if you
indicated to install RAA in the GIM root directory—as was recommended in the Reporting and Analytics
Aggregates 8.0 Deployment Guide for operating aggregation in integrated mode—some RAA installation
files (such as the ip_description.xml
and read_me.html
) overwrote GIM installation
files. (ER# 255868778)

make_gi2.sql
upon first run.
This script deploys additional tables, views, and indexes that are required for
Interactive Insights operation. This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:
The aggregation process no longer commits data while GIM is sending notifications about updates to
FACT
tables. In the previous release, this mis-timing of commits could possibly yield errors
if the transformation job was ever interrupted. (ER# 263708324)

Corrections and Modifications
There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.0 release of Reporting and Analytics Aggregates.
This section documents features that are no longer supported in this software. This cumulative list is in release-number order with the most recently discontinued features at the top of the list.
The consult-initiated fields of the following tables capture both simple and warm consultations when they should only reflect measurement of simple consultations:
AG2_AGENT_GRP_[*].CONSULT_INITIATED
(ER# 280886501)
Found In: 8.0.100.06 | Fixed In: 8.1.000.12 |
For a Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS, by default RAA assigns the INTEGER
data type to
metrics for the lower aggregation levels (for example SUBHR
and DAY
). As a
result, there is a limit to the amount of data RAA can handle. If you find that aggregation fails
for a particular aggregate (such as AG2_ID
in the H_ID
hierarchy), you
can disable that hierarchy. Refer to the chapter entitled "[agg-populate-disable] Section" in the Reporting and
Analytics Aggregates Deployment Guide for instructions. (ER# 295306930)
Found In: 8.0.100.05 | Fixed In: |
The gim_agg_application_options.cfg
configuration file contains an
undocumented option: deadlock-threshold
. The value of this option represents
the time, in seconds, in which aggregation results must be returned before aggregation
write operations are considered to be deadlocked or RDBMS performance is considered to be
too slow.
In this release, this option is reserved for internal use only and its value should not be changed unless requested by Genesys Technical Support.
Found In: 8.0.100.05 | Fixed In: 8.1.000.12 |
The number and duration of agent-initiated consultations for interactions distributed from a
queue (stored in the AG2_AGENT_QUEUE_[*].CONSULT_INITIATED
and
..CONSULT_INITIATED_TIME
fields respectively) always yields a zero value.
(ER# 275037858)
Found In: 8.0.100.05 | Fixed In: 8.1.000.12 |
With some GIM versions, if you change GIM options, such as the database access point or
aggregation-engine-class-name
while GIM is running, you might encounter error messages, such
as the following:
18:44:05.062 Lib.Thread.KeeperManager caught an exception. Monitor: AggKeeper Message: AggKeeper: unable to execute command: UPDATE_CONFIG 18:44:05.062 Lib.Thread.KeeperManager common.TransformError: Exception during synchronization of existing configuration
And, both GIM and RAA might stop processing data. To work around this problem, restart GIM after making above-mentioned changes or make the changes while GIM is not running. (ER# 271265897)
Found In: 8.0.001.02 | Fixed In: |
Some aggregator messages are logged as ERROR
. In the specific context, however,
ERROR
indicates logging priority rather than something erroneous.
(ER# 254391780)
Found In: 8.0.000.32 | Fixed In: 8.1.000.12 |
This section documents features that are no longer supported in this software. This cumulative list is in release-number order with the most recently discontinued features at the top of the list.
The ojdbc5.jar
Oracle JDBC driver is no longer provided within the RAA
installation package.
Discontinued As Of: 8.0.100.05 |
The ability to purge data from the aggregate tables is not available in the 8.0.x releases. This feature was available in the 7.6.x releases.
Discontinued As Of: 8.0.000.32 |
