Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

Redirect, single-step transfer or routing of a call to an external busy destination results in the call being dropped. This also applies to internal busy destinations, but in this latter case the limitation can be avoided by using using switch commmand MOD SFP: ID= P266,VAL="0000",CONFIRM= Y; (ER# 193689175)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Call cleanup functions are not supported. (ER# 205953941)

The only operations supported manually on hard phones are:

All other operations (hold call, transfer, conference and so on) must be requested using Genesys T-Server. (ER# 206079159)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Switch reporting of call states in forwarding and redirect scenarios is unreliable. T-Server cannot always report correct call states in these scenarios. (ER# 206432854)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Parking queues should not be used in a Genesys environment. A call parked on a parking queue cannot be retrieved. (ER# 191686085)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Although monitoring of CRD (IVR) devices is supported, T-Server does not support any type of treatment request for such devices. (ER# 197676996)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Single-step conference to external or unmonitored DNs, to Routing Points and to ACD Queues is not supported. (ER# 193660331)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

If single step conference is requested to or from a device that is on a consultation call, it will not be possible to complete the transfer for that consultation call. (ER# 197676847)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

Routing a consultation call to an external DN via ISCC using cast-type direct-ani and with option use-data-from set to original will fail. (ER# 197798150)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

If a primary T-Server is started before a backup T-Server in an HA configuration, the backup T-Server can only receive information about calls that were created before it was started if option ha-sync-dly-lnk-conn is set to value true. (ER# 198004782)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

If an outbound call is made to an invalid device, the switch drops the call but reports a normal Connection Cleared event. It provides no information about the invalid number. For OCS, this means that such a call will have a call result of General Error rather than SIT Invalid Number. (ER# 199924089)

Found In: 7.6 Fixed In:

The only predicitive calls that the Huawei NGN switch allows from Routing Points are native calls, and the switch does not perform any call progress detection. Thus the following limitations apply to Outbound integration:
