This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:


ADP now supports non-numeric DN configurations. (ER# 269924633)


ADP can now be stopped through Genesys Administrator. Previously on occasion, ADP could not be stopped through Genesys Administrator, and the process on the ADP host machine had to be manually shut down. (ER# 274178472)


The force login option can now be used for Agent Logins not associated with any person in the Configuration Server database. Previously in this scenario, the Agent Logins could not be logged out, because it was impossible to determine the actual DN used. (ER# 270386558)


ADP no longer displays a message indicating that the contents of the IP have been extracted into the directory defined by ADP_HOME upon installation. (ER# 273406513)

Known Issues and Recommendations

If no backup Solution Control Server (SCS) is configured for the ADP-enabled SCS, ADP generates an error message on startup.

Workaround: Create a "dummy" SCS application object and specify this application object as the backup in the primary SCS. (ER# 285905121)

The force login option cannot be used for Agent Logins not associated with any person in the Configuration Server database. In this scenario, the Agent Logins cannot be logged out, because it is impossible to determine the actual DN used. (ER# 270386558)

When installing Agent Desktop Proxy (ADP), a message occurs indicating that the contents of the IP have been extracted into the directory defined by ADP_HOME. In fact, some items are extracted into the bin and webapps subdirectories within the directory defined by CATALINA_HOME.

This message can be ignored. All files are extracted in the correct locations and ADP has been installed correctly.
