Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

The Resource Manager does not read the ccxml-usage-limit-exceeded-alarm parameter correctly; therefore, the Resource Manager does not generate the alarm-level event 20112 to the logs. (ER# 192095539)

Found In: 8.0.004.66 Fixed In:  8.1.001.68

The Resource Manager ignores the Min-SE header in incoming messages. Instead, Resource Manager uses the value configured in either the sip.sessiontimer parameter of the tenant IVR Profile, or the value configured in the proxy.sip.sessionexpires option in the SIP messages as the Session-Expires header. This could cause confusion for some SIP clients. Genesys recommends that you configure Resource Manager with a value greater than the Min-SE sent from the SIP devices. (ER# 192961047)

Found In: 8.0.004.66 Fixed In:  8.1.001.68

The Resource Manager may unexpectedly exit if the SIP From header exceeds more than 2000 characters. (ER# 173250259)

Found In: 8.0.004.66 Fixed In:  8.1.001.68

When a SIP resource sends a redirection response (301 or 302) back to the Resource Manager, if the SIP resource returns multiple SIP destinations to redirect to, the Resource Manger takes the first of these SIP destinations to redirect the request to. (ER# 193841929)

Found In: 8.0.004.66 Fixed In:

If the Resource Manager cannot establish a TCP socket connection to a SIP resource, the Resource Manager does not retry the request with another resource. This only happens when the Resource Manager continues to route requests to a resource which it thinks is up and running while the resource is down. To minimize the duration during which this happens, set the monitor.sip.proxy.optionsinterval option of the Resource Manager to a smaller value. (ER# 194138143)

Found In: 8.0.004.66 Fixed In:  8.1.001.68
