This release includes the following corrections and modifications :
SIP Session Manager (SSM) no longer sends a reserve request to Resource
Manager (RM) with the IP address of the Media Gateway without the
direction. Previously, RM returned an available port as it was unaware of the direction of
the call. SSM then initiated an outbound INVITE
to that Media Gateway. (ER# 34926157)
SSM now uses the Genesys SIP Stack with support for basic compact SIP headers. Previously, SSM used the DynamicSoft SIP Stack to handle SIP messages. Support for compact SIP headers was not present in the DynamicSoft Stack. Therefore, if a SIP Device (Proxy/UA) sent an INVITE
to SSM with compact SIP headers, then the latter unexpectedly terminated. As a result, it was mandatory to use the Long Header format only with SSM. (ER# 136589614)
SSM now uses the Genesys SIP Stack that allows the passing of session timers. Previously, SSM used its own logic to achieve session timer functionality. (ER# 138015606, 137255580, 146969223)

IP Call Manager (IPCM) now sends the cnSSMDatabaseError
trap when
SSM loses its connection to the database. (ER# 42165746)
IPCM now forwards the RE-INVITE
message to IPCS when a call is
active on IPCM, and the caller sends the RE-INVITE
to refresh the
session. (ER# 29393821)

message when a call is
active on IPCM, and the caller sends a RE-INVITE
to refresh the
session. (ER# 29393840)
