The Installation Wizard no longer attempts to modify an incorrect row after adding a new server, and then performing a sort on the list of servers. (ER# 237486671)

For VCS configurations using the E1EuroISDN dialogic trunk definition, the Installation Wizard now sets the Nettype parameter correctly. Previously, in this scenario, the Nettype parameter was set incorrectly which caused WatchDog not to start. (ER# 209181921)

The Installation Wizard no longer shows attempts to uninstall server components that are not selected. Previously, when you used the Uninstall Selected Components option to remove components from a server, the Installation Wizard also showed the uninstallation of components in the server that were not selected. (ER# 208620910)

You can now select the correct T1 - Line side and Loopstart type during the installation of Dialogic and GVP when using the Installation Wizard. (ER# 59308131)

The Installation Wizard now clearly states that only manual installation is supported for D/300JCT-E1 and D/240JCT-T1 boards. Previously an exception was thrown with a confusing error message when the Installation Wizard was used to configure these boards. (ER# 42134370)

You can now install GVP on the D: drive using the Deployment Tool. Previously, WatchDog would not start if GVP was installed on the D: drive. (ER# 120904121)

The EMPS database is now included in the list of databases that the GVP Deployment Tool (GDT) displays when your installation includes EMS Reporting and/or OBN Manager components. Previously, on a Korean operating system, the EMPS database was not listed in the GDT. (ER# 118845927)

You can now use the GDT to uninstall individual components by clicking Deploy > Maintenance > Uninstall > Uninstall Selected Components. Previously, there was no option to uninstall individual components. (ER# 83435137)

VCS ports are now correctly configured as Inbound & Outbound when the Inbound and Outbound with Bridging call type option is selected in the GDT. (ER# 100786371)

The VCS GVP Servers Configuration task page to configure Dialogic trunks now displays trunk definitions that are valid for the selected configuration. Previously, this configuration screen offered protocol variations inconsistent with the existing configuration. (ER#  69049703)

You can now stop the transfer of the CD image by clicking the X in the upper right of the progress bar window. (ER# 78345110)

You cannot upgrade the 7.5 GVP software outside of the subnet because there is no server discovery window for the manual addition of servers. The GVP Servers Discovery feature of the GVP Deployment Tool (GDT) discovers all servers that have the GVP Deployment Agent (GDA) installed only in the local subnet. If you are installing GVP servers across multiple subnets, upgrade using the following steps:

For new or existing GVP 7.5 deployments:

  1. Run the GDT on a server in the subnet that has the maximum number of GVP servers. This enables GDT to discover the GVP servers. If GDT finds servers, go to step 2; otherwise go to step 3.
  2. Manually add the missing server in the Feature Selection screen. Continue with the installation and configuration of servers.
  3. Close the GDT.
  4. For each additional subnet:

For upgrading pre-7.6 releases to GVP 7.6:

  1. Run the GDT on a server in the subnet that has at least one GVP server.
  2. Using the GDT, upgrade the software on each GVP server.
  3. Close the GDT.
  4. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 for each additional subnet.

Note: Running the GDT multiple times (once per subnet) on a server in the subnet upgrades the server.
