The Adapter now correctly removes Outbound Request session key-value pairs (KVPs) when an agent receives a ringing outbound call. Previously in this scenario, the Adapter attached the gplus-analytics-id KVP, but the TUpdateUserData request still contained the Outbound Request session KVP, which led to call transfer issues. (GPS-2876)

The Adapter now correctly handles agent logins in scenarios where the DNs are not actually configured in the Adapter. Previously, an exception was thrown during the login operation if an older version of the configuration was cached in the Adapter. (GPS-2867)

The Adapter now switches the agent into the correct workmode after a transfer operation is applied for a call that is in Wrap-Up mode. Previously in this scenario, the agent was switched to the workmode that preceded Wrap-Up mode (for example, Ready state).

Note: The behavior described in this scenario occurs only when the wrapUpOldStyle option in the GPMC_Common section of the Adapter Application is configured with a value of 0. (ER# 281026863)

The StatServer installation package now includes presence information in the StatProfile.cfg file, enabling the Adapter to access this file and return all presence information. Previously, if StatServer was not correctly configured, the Adapter returned an error when an agent sent a presence information request. (ER# 257659911)

The Adapter now properly resets the reason code after switching from a customized workmode to the Ready state. Previously in this scenario, the Adapter did not reset the reason code in certain cases. (ER# 257538662)

The Adapter now correctly handles the values for the configuration option GPMC_Email\available. Previously, when this option value was set to 1, the Adapter would discard the settings, and treat the value as equal to 0 (zero), which caused the E-Mail channel to become unavailable. (ER# 257346618)

The Adapter now correctly leaves the workmode unchanged allowing the agent to continue working when switching from Not Ready to Voice Not Ready, Email Logged Off. Previously when an agent did this, the workmode controls became blocked, and the agent needed to log in to SAP again to continue activities. This problem appeared only when the Adapter's forceChangeWorkmodeRequest option (in the GPMC_Common Section) was set to 1. (ER# 243534222)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This release does not contain any new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

The Adapter now continues to function properly even if it cannot retrieve information about agents from Stat Server. Previously, in the event that Stat Server responded to an Adapter request with an error message, the Adapter might lock itself. This led to blocking agents from logging in or performing work. (ER# 241028616)

The Adapter now correctly waits for an agent to accept an e-mail interaction before trying to update the attached data for the interaction. Previously, when an e-mail with attached data arrived, the Adapter incorrectly attempted to update the data prior to agent acceptance. This prompted error messaging from Interaction Server and incorrect messages on the SAP side indicating that the interaction's data had been modified. (ER# 230701747)

The Adapter now correctly uses the port actually configured for its host's Local Contral Agent (LCA). Previously, the Adapter only used the default value Genesys assigns for the LCA port, 4999. (ER# 238786197)

Agents can now correctly log in on a new DN, even if the DN associated with their most recent previous login had been deleted prior to the agent's previous session fully closing. (That is, even if the earlier session did not end by an explicit agent request, or as the result of exceeding a timeout configured on the Adapter side.) Previously in these cases, agents would not be able to subsequently log in on new DN after the DN previously used had been deleted. (ER# 238608073)

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

Periodically, the Adapter did not pass the gplus-analytics-id key in the call-attached data (CAD), which was due to simultaneous updates from the T-Server to the CAD. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 218694554)

The Adapter now correctly leaves unchanged an agent's Work Mode (does not set it to Ready) when, on the Agent DN, there is an unanswered call that is abandoned during call-wrapup time. This expected behavoir indicates that if the agent, during call-wrapup, receives a call for which wrap-up is not allowed, the agent stays in wrap-up mode after the call is completed. Previously, call-wrapup time was canceled (changed to Ready) after receipt of this type of call.(ER# 225356964)

There was no Gplus Adapter Media Routing for SAP component available for the Gplus Adapter for SAP ICI Multi-Channel component version 7.5.100.22. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 227268383)

With this release, the Adapter now correctly converts the ANI of a call for which you choose to have the prefix removed prior to optimization (by setting the new option, inbound-prefix-remove-first, to true). Previously in this case, Gplus ICI Multi-Channel Adapter incorrectly converted the ANI to the canonical format if it had the following structure: inboud-prefix + NDD + AREA + BASE + EXTENSION (where the inbound-prefix + NDD was represented by the same string as IDD). The Adapter incorrectly restored a workmode after wrap-up when the wrapUpProcessingStyle option was set to 0. In most cases, the Adapter sets the agent to NotReady after the wrap-up is finished no matter what workmode was requested last. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 195950350)

Corrections and Modifications

Previously, the agent session information was not deleted correctly. In some cases, this led to a situation where the Adapter distributed events over several sessions, including the closed one. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 174888470)

After wrap-up, the Adapter restored only the workmodes set by the setCurrentWorkmode command. The Adapter omitted the workmodes set by T-Server. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 163985105)

For calls that did not allow Wrap-Up mode according to Adapter logic, the Adapter prevented NotReady modes triggered by T-Server where the state was AfterCallWork This problem has been fixed. (ER#s 163985149, 163985156)

If the Adapter option automaticWrapUpMode was set to 1 and an agent continued to use the hard-phone after finishing a session in SAP, the Adapter logged that agent into the DN after releasing the call. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 163985165)

The agent session information was not deleted correctly, if an agent started a session in SAP WebClient, and the session was not closed correctly. After the agent ended the agent session, the agent information still remained in the memory, which caused an out of memory exception after some time. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 138028444)

The Adapter treated the headers Content-Type and Content-Transfer-Encoding as case-sensitive. If the headers were not recognized due to case, then the Adapter automatically added another pair of these headers to the incoming e-mail, which led to problems in displaying the e-mails in SAP. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 162824825)

The Adapter frequently lost its connection with T-Server. This problem has been fixed. (ER# 163985110)

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

Depending on the T-Server configuration settings, the SAP Web Client may incorrectly display the call state (obtained from the SAP ICI Multi-Channel) of a conference call participant as Connected, if the value of the consult-user-data configuration option is set to separate or inherited. This option specifies the method for handling user data in a consultation call and is set in the TServer section of the T-Server Application object, which is located in the Connections section of the Adapter application.

Workaround: Set the value of the consult-user-data configuration option to joint.
