  • Links in the Contents section enable you to access information regarding a specific release. Releases are listed by version number rather than in date order. For this reason, a recent release may be listed after earlier releases, if the version number is lower. Except when otherwise noted in the information for a specific release, each release includes all of the features and corrections that were introduced for the applicable operating system at earlier dates, regardless of the version numbering.
  • The Release Number table lists the supported operating systems for each release at a high level. For more detailed information, see the Genesys Supported Operating Environment Reference.
  • The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.
  • The Corrections and Modifications section for each release may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.
  • The Discontinued Support section is cumulative. It lists functionality that is no longer supported and the release number of the version in which support was discontinued.
  • Your T-Server’s name correlates generally with the name of the switch you intend to use, but vendor switch names often change. For full details on the name(s) of the switch intended for use with this T-Server, see the Genesys Supported Media Interfaces Reference Guide.

The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list with the most recent items at the top of the list. This list includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected.

      Default Value: none
Valid Values: a valid user ID (string) in the SAP Gateway system
      Mandatory: Yes

      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option defines the SAP login password.

      client
      Default Value: none
Valid Values: SAP login client (string)
      Mandatory: Yes
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the client number of your SAP system, which can be found on the login screen above the user/password section. In the SAP landscape, a client is an entity with independent information and data.

      ashost
      Default Value: none
Valid Values: a fully qualified host name of a specific SAP application server
      Mandatory: Yes
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

      codepage
Default Value: none (Note: When no default value is specified, SAP assumes a codepage value of 1100)
Valid Values: a four-character code in the format specified by SAP
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the codepage used for the initial handshake, which preserves the characters in user/password found in the Preconfigured Code Pages at https://help.sap.com/doc/saphelp_nwpi711/7.1.1/en-US/48/956eae94cc73e9e10000000a42189b/content.htm?no_cache=true.

Valid Values: a login group name
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the login group name from which the SAP application server should be chosen. When no value is specified, the Adapter uses PUBLIC.

      Default Value: EN
Valid Values: a SAP login language
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the SAP logon language used for this connection, in either the two-character ISO-Code or one-character SAP-specific code.

      • The ISO-Code is case insensitive. Examples include EN for English, DE for German, and KO for Korean.
      • The SAP-specific code is case sensitive. Examples include E for English, D for German, and 3 for Korean. As an example of case sensitivity, specifying D logs you in as German, but specifying d logs you in as Serbian, if that language is installed in your system.

      mshost
      Default Value: none
Valid Values: the host name or address of SAP Message Server
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

Valid Values: the service name of SAP Message Server
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the service name of SAP Message Server (if using Load Balancing). When no value is specified, the Adapter uses a value of sapms<R/3 system name>. This information is required when load balancing is needed. Otherwise, it's optional.

      r3name
      Default Value: none
Valid Values: the SAP backendís system ID
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the SAP backend system ID (for example, ďH9CĒ). If no value specified, the Adapter uses a value of DEST.

Valid Values: the SAP backendís system number
      Mandatory: Yes
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the SAP backend system number (SAP ERP, No Load Balancing). This value must be consistent with the system number in the SAP ERP Server Properties. This sysnr option and the ashost option make up the direct SAP application server parameters.

      trace
      Default Value: Off
Valid Values: (case insensitive) Off, Brief, Verbose, or Full
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option controls rfc trace logging on the NewWeaver RFC Library Level.

      trace-dir
Default Value: '.' (that is, the current working directory)
Valid Values: a string that is an absolute or relative path name
      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

Important: The directory must exist prior to setting this option. The NetWeaver RFC library will not create the directory if it doesn't exist.

This option specifies the directory where the NetWeaver RFC library writes trace files. You configure it on the NetWeaver RFC library level.

      trace-type
      Default Value: THREAD
      Valid Values: (case insensitive)

      Mandatory: No
      Changes Take Effect: Immediately

This option specifies the way the NetWeaver RFC library writes trace files. You configure it on the NetWeaver RFC library level.
