If you are migrating from a release prior to 8.0.101.12 and if you are using more than one instance of Outbound Contact Server (OCS), contact Genesys Customer Care for instructions on how to migrate to the latest release without loss of Outbound Contact data.

Migration from 7.x releases of Genesys Info Mart to release 8.1 is not supported.

If you are deploying Interaction Concentrator 8.1 in an environment with Genesys Info Mart 8.1.0, do not enable the route-res-vqid-hist-enabled configuration option, which was introduced in Interaction Concentrator 8.1. (The option is disabled by default.) (ER# 283053476)

Genesys Info Mart release 8.1 does not support IBM DB2 databases.

For deployments where Genesys Info Mart is installed on a 64-bit Windows operating system and where Genesys Info Mart accesses Oracle databases, Genesys Info Mart requires you to install a Java Development Kit (JDK) or Server Java Runtime Environment (JRE). If you are installing a 32-bit JDK or Server JRE for Genesys Info Mart on a 64-bit Windows operating system, the default installation folder is [drive_path]:\Program Files (x86)\ (for example, C:\Program Files (x86)). There is a known bug (3807408) in Oracle that causes authentication errors when the executable path contains parentheses. Genesys recommends installing the JDK or Server JRE using a folder that does not contain parentheses. Refer to Oracle MetaLink article 334528.1 for more information.
