This release includes the following correction and modification:
Previously, in rare cases, a multi-threading issue with concurrent threads in the Supervisor Desktop Service (SDS) application resulted in significant increases in CPU usage. This specific scenario has been addressed in SDS release 7.6.300.12. Upgrading to SDS release 7.6.300.12 should alleviate the issue. (GEN-2971)

This software is available only with Genesys Performance Management Advisors. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of Supervisor Desktop Service:
It is no longer necessary to configure the Person object in the Configuration Layer as an agent in order for Advisors to log the Resource Management Console (RMC) user in to the Supervisor Desktop Service. RMC users can manage the skills of agents in the RMC without being configured as agents themselves. This functionality requires Contact Center Advisor/Workforce Advisor release 8.5.101.15.
Supervisor Desktop Service (SDS) now facilitates correct functionality when you configure RMC users to have different sets of access permissions for the purposes of viewing the list of agents.

The Windows service for Supervisor Desktop Service supports 64-bit Java.
Supervisor Desktop Service (SDS) is now available as a 64-bit version, as well as the 32-bit version. Follow this basic rule:
The SDS server for Linux is 32-bit only.

Performance Management Advisors Release 8.1.401 supports Oracle Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.7, but SDS does not. If you deploy SDS with Advisors Release 8.1.401, and you have Java 7 installed, you must also install a version of JDK 1.6.0 for SDS.

When SDS sends an email about failed skills updates or additions, and the changes had been attempted on more than one agent, the list of agents where the failed updates occurred is incorrect. The list shows only the first agent on which changes failed. (GEN-704)
