The host name for Resource Manager is now rolled back to the existing HPE convention to resolve an issue where the host could not be found. (ER# 305135953)


The correct name is now created for the Outbound Campaign Group Configuration Object. Previously, the Outbound Campaign Group did not include the name of the Place Group or Agent Group. (ER# 305135951)


The Classification Server startup file ClfServer.sh was updated to add new system parameters for the eServices firewall port rules. (ER# 305023965)


The alias name for the GAX Inbound Call Routing Point now follows the required HPE convention. Previously, the Routing Point alias was identical to the Directory Number, and the Universal Routing Server could not match this information in the strategy script. (ER# 304653021)


The default user is now set in the Log On As field of Universal Contact Server (UCS) with the required permissions to start the application. Previously, this user did not have the proper permissions to start UCS. (ER# 304435549)


The Solution Package Definition (SPD) file for the Workforce Management (WFM) Application object will now allow you to enable or disable the WFM service. (ER# 302733797)

When the Inbound/Outbound/eService solutions are deployed concurrently, the permissions of one access group no longer overwrite the permissions of the other access groups. (ER# 303810265)


The permission of the GUI Users access group in the IRDesigner Application object has been removed because it requires the presence of the IRDesigner Application object in the Configuration Layer; however, the IRDesigner Application object is not always present in the Configuration Layer. (ER# 304303811)


Read permission was granted to the Outbound Administrators Access Group on the hosts where the segment-level OCS DB servers are running. (ER# 303571338)


Segment-level Interaction and Contact servers are now added to the connections of the GDesktop Application object when the eService solution is deployed in blended mode (operating concurrently with the Inbound or Outbound solutions, or both). (ER# 302904574)

When you install Universal Contact Server (UCS), GAX is now configured by default not to pre-load all Person objects available from Configuration Server. Previously, pre-loading all the Person objects slowed UCS unacceptably and it was necessary to manually update the startup file after installing UCS to prevent such pre-loading. (ER# 302244583)


The heap size for the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) in the UCS startup script (contactServer.sh) has been increased from 512M to 1024M. Previously when using the smaller heap size, UCS failed to start and generated an Out of Memory exception. In addition, a tag to clean the intermediate file from the GDA root was added. (ER# 302210931)


The heap size for the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) in the Email Server startup script (emailServer.sh) has been increased from 512M to 1024M. Previously when using the smaller heap size, Email Server failed to start and generated an Out of Memory exception. (ER# 302172551)

An extraneous tenant is no longer created when deploying Genesys eServices. Previously when deploying eServices, the tenant name was erroneously set to Tenant.dbid; because such a tenant could not be found, a new one was created. (ER# 300879631)


When deploying Genesys eServices, the mailbox property in the [pop-client] section of the E-mail Server Application object is set to {POP client login name}@{corporate email server domain value}. (ER# 300187736)

These five files replace hpe812.xml which was shipped with the previous release. The file hpe812.xml acted as a wrapper for HPE python scripts. The new SPD files reduce the number of questions that must be answered to deploy the HPE 8.1.2 specific services. (ER# 299760316)

The Outbound Contact Server DAP Application object that is created during deployment of the Outbound Voice Solution no longer contains the following extraneous suffix in the name: -1. (ER# 299437596)


In Automated Solution Deployment (ASD), logging for the Genesys Desktop GDesktop application object is now correct. The logging file path was corrected and the unused configuration options were removed. (ER# 299012608)


The eServices SPD now references Universal Contact Server 8.1. Previously, Universal Contact Server 8.0.2 was referenced. (ER# 298657516)


When the Inbound Voice, Outbound Voice, or eServices Solutions are deployed by using ASD, an ADDP connection is no longer configured between CCPulse and Stat Server. The default connection protocol is used because ADDP is not supported by the version of CCPulse that is included in the Hosted Provider Edition environment. (ER# 298656860)

GAX now correctly handles the situation where a Tenant that is part of a Hostset is missing Annex properties. Previously, deployment of any HPE Solution that was missing Annex properties did not proceed. (ER# 299497257)


GAX now prompts you to fix the Hostset configuration and interrupt the deployment immediately if a tenant has been deleted after it has been deployed as part of a Hostset by ASD. Previously, GAX reported that it could not read the tenant, then unexpectedly continued the deployment. (ER# 299101037)


The folder name where ASD deploys eServices has been corrected. Previously, the folder name was incorrect which resulted in eServices objects being deployed to the wrong folder. (ER# 299077967)


The application name of eServices objects that are deployed by ASD are now correct. Previously, the ASD incorrectly named eServices objects during deployment. (ER# 298943133)


Applications that are deployed as part of the Inbound Voice, Outbound Voice, and eServices Solutions by ASD now send log information to both the network and to the log file. Previously, log information was sent only to the network. (ER# 298741252)


Previously, when performing multiple redeployments, GAX added duplicate information to the startup parameters for the licensing server. GAX now checks to determine if the license value is already set to ensure that it gets overwritten and not appended. (ER# 298656959)

GAX now correctly verifies whether a deployment has already been done for a tenant, and it updates existing Hostset options. Previously, GAX created duplicates in the Hostset for the deployed tenant. This situation led to the incorrect calculation of the existing number of installed tenants and the failure of deployment. (ER# 299158455)


The GAX deployment Wizard now requests the Genesys Interaction Routing Designer (IRD) Database host, port, and service name during the deployment of the Inbound Voice and Outbound Voice solutions. Previously, the values were retrieved from the IRD DAP that is configured in cfg_dbserver. (ER# 299043301, 299017121)


When CCPulse Application objects are created during the deployment of HPE Solutions, GAX correctly sets the options the default options that are defined in the application template. (ER# 299017441)


The wfm.xml and hpe812.xml files are now correctly listed as being part of the SPD scenario in the readme.txt file in the web_configuration_manager_extension\os_independent\resources\spd\ directory on the CD or \resources\spd in the IP package. (ER# 298605653)


The deployment log now contains the screen output information from the execution of the GIMAgg.jar command during the deployment of inbound voice, outbound voice, and eServices. (ER# 298499551)
