Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections or modifications:

Genesys One does not need the voice configuration object iWSBroadcastDN, which has now been removed from the Deployment Guide and the SPD. (GENONE-402)

Calls now route correctly when all agents from a target are unavailable and the target timeout value is not set. Previously, calls were incorrectly disconnecting. (GENONE-244)

Calls now properly disconnect when required routing parameters are not set. (GENONE-187)

Callers no longer hear Greeting 1 twice when Greeting 2 is not set. (GENONE-180)

Genesys One no longer needs the dummy agent group AG_MUSIC to play music before the targeting routine begins. (GENONE-176)

Callers who fail to enter a touch tone digit no longer hear the auto-attendant menu replayed unnecessarily. The call now moves appropriately to the Default distribution parameter group. (GENONE-168, GENONE-151)

Calls no longer disconnect prematurely when the parameter Target virtual queue lacks a value or when any of the four target parameters lack a value. (GENONE-165, GENONE-171)

The application now correctly handles RONA (Reject On No Answer) and rejection-by-agent call flows. (GENONE-163, GENONE-167)

Calls no longer disconnect prematurely when the caller selects an invalid touch tone value. (GENONE-153)

Default announcements now use the correct personality. (GENONE-147)

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections or modifications:

Routing: When no agent is ready to answer a call at Target 1, the call now correctly passes to the next target level in the queue. Calls were previously disconnecting. (ER# 323198391)

Reporting: Filtering statistics for multiple queues are now correct, and business-related UserData updates now include the Wait for Event property. (ER# 323081671)

Reporting: The IVR column in the CCPulse+ G1_VQ template now shows CallsExited data, and all queues handling a call now show data after the call is offered an IVR treatment. Previously, the first queue was not incremented and the value was not updated when all the parameter groups used the same queue. (ER# 319071386)

Reporting: CCPulse+ agent templates now display accurate data when an agent is logged into both Voice and Email channels. Previously, the template displayed data for only one channel. (ER# 318875708)

Reporting: CCPulse+ reports now display call priority. (ER# 318687211)

Routing: For calls using multiple parameter groups, the routing application now attaches business metadata (product, segment, service, and department) for all parameter groups. The application previously attached data only for the first parameter group. (ER# 317982911)

Release Number 8.1.000.04 [02/01/13] – Hot Fix

Supported Operating Systems

Corrections and Modifications

Supported Operating Systems

The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.

Note: To obtain the updated Genesys One 8.1 Deployment Guide mentioned in this hot fix release, contact your Genesys representative.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections or modifications:

The Purge Log DB and Purge StatServer DB SQL scripts now function as expected. Previously, these scripts failed because the DB user was hardcoded as gax. They are now hardcoded as sa. The Genesys One Deployment Guide now includes a procedure for how to edit these script files, if needed. (ER# 316211435)

The missing "/" character for the IXN_ORS application was added. Previously, the absence of the character prevented the import of the Service Package Definition (SPD) file, which prevented Genesys One from being deployed. (ER# 316538691)

The Media Control Platform applications, MCP_1 and MCP_2, are now able to start. Previously, they were unable to start because the value for the sip/transport.2 option was truncated. The option value is now correct in the SPD file. (ER# 316538693)

Universal Contact Server (UCS) can now start as expected, as the UCS-related user account now provides correct access rights. Previously, the UCS user account access rights were insufficient to start UCS. Instructions on how to assign rights to the UCS-related user account are included in the updated Genesys One Deployment Guide. (ER# 316521221)

You can now import the CCP_StatServer configuration file using Genesys Administrator. Previously, you could not import it because the file included configuration options that belonged in the SPD file. (ER# 316507351)

The CCP_StatServer configuration file was updated and no longer includes environment options (DB, user, password, host, port) that did not belong in the file. (ER# 316507353)

The Genesys One Base Pack now includes the Interaction Workspace configuration file. Previously, this file was missing from the package. (ER# 316531913)

The request-uri value for the "record" VoIP DN is now correct. (ER# 316619731)

E-mail standard templates were removed from this Genesys One Base package. Previously, these real-time templates were mistakenly included. (ER# 316985909)

Genesys One 8.1 Deployment Guide Corrections

Voice sample objects can be deployed if the Configuration Server option, allow-empty-password, is set to true. The Genesys One Deployment Guide, Section 3.3 was updated to reflect this. Note: When the option is manually set to true, the password for the AgentSample Person is AgentSample in the SPD. Previously, the guide indicated that the option should be set to false. (ER# 316507271)

The Genesys One Deployment Guide, Section 3.3, Configuration Server now includes ADDP parameters (protocol=addp, addp-timeout=30, addp-remote-timeout=60 and addp-trace=off) for connections between primary and backup Configuration Servers. Previously, these parameters were not included in the guide. (ER# 316507276)
