Corrections and Modifications
This release is under shipping control. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.0 release of Enterprise SDK for .NET.
Enterprise SDK makes use of an SOA-based design architecture, implemented on top of .NET 3.5 Framework, to provide a flexible set of external interfaces. You can add, change, or remove services to meet your development needs.
Enterprise SDK is based on a high-level abstraction framework that allows developers to focus on coding without having to worry about low-level details.
Switch-based abstraction allows you to create code without worrying about support for switch-specific features or functions.
Enterprise SDK supports basic call control features with this release.
Enterprise SDK supports multi-site and multi-tenant environments.
Wiki documentation has been developed to support your Enterprise SDK deployment. This wiki makes it easier for you to provide feedback and suggestions, and ensures that Genesys can quickly provide corrections, clarifications, and improvements to the documents as necessary. To access the Genesys Technical Publications Wiki, visit the Developer Zone website.
Note: This release was designed for and especially suited to customization of the Interaction Workspace.
There are no corrections or modifications in this initial 8.0 release of Enterprise SDK for .NET.

When SIP recording is activating, the DeleteFromConference
function is incorrectly enabled for the first party in the conference. This function should not be enabled in this scenario. (ER# 256846756)

When using the setAttachedData
method for voice interactions, you can set two values for the same key. However, you cannot retrieve both key values because the getAttachedData
method returns only a single value. (ER# 258917857)

Enterprise SDK reports that the SetForward
and CancelForward
features are not enabled for SIP Server version 8 when using Switch Policy Library label "SIPSwitch::8.0.4". Invoking these features will lead to a time out.
Note: These features are supported from SIP Server version 8.03.

When hiding selected data in the logs for security management, the filter created during application configuration is only applied to user data and extensions that are defined in keyValueCollection
type properties. Other properties of the request containing sensitive data are not hidden. (ER# 260671950)

For Nortel Communication Server 2000/2100, the third party in a conference call is not properly identified and is reported as "Unknown". (ER# 250577984)

If TServer is stopped/restarted, an Agent can issue a new login request but will still be reported as out of service when querying his state. (ER# 252688401)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
In order to process Preview Interactions, applications using the Enterprise SDK must register with VoiceService
to receive Interactions of type Preview
. (The Preview Service must use the VoiceService
to manage Preview Interactions.) (ER# 250889360)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
In order to process IM Interaction, applications using the Enterprise SDK must register with VoiceService
to receive Interactions of type IM, and then use the IMService
for IM methods. (ER# 250889354)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
If an application using the Enterprise SDK subscribes more than once to the same Statistics Object ID, then the unsubscribe method will only work on the first instance and not unsubscribe from other instances. (ER# 241931454)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
If communication with T-Server is interrupted, the connection is not reestablished automatically. Genesys recommends that you configure a backup T-Server to avoid this issue. (ER# 226842737)

When a listen disconnect or listen reconnect request is sent to the Avaya Communication Manager switch, only the requester receives the related EventListenDisconnected
or EventListenReconnected
events. Other parties involved in this interaction are not aware of the request/event action and cannot calculate possible values. (ER# 239563782)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
Some fields in returned events are mutable, which can cause data to be lost if events are not immediately processed. For example, if two EventAttachedDataChanged
events are received then your application must process the contents of the userdata
property from the first event before the second event arrives. Otherwise, the contents of this property are lost for the first event. (ER# 240100278)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
When using the Avaya Communication Manager switch, Interaction events can provide DnId
instead of AgentLoginId
in the parties

Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
In the current implementation of Agent Monitor Statistics, the monitoring service on a multimedia DN cannot determine the difference between a Voice and Instant Messaging interaction. (ER# 236712191)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
When using a single Enterprise SDK instance in server mode (several agents per instance), the CompleteConference
, CompleteTransfer
, or AlternateCall
definitions with a single interaction parameter may cause an exception. This behavior does not occur in client mode (one agent per instance).
Workaround: In server mode, use the definition with two interaction parameters.
(ER# 234549881)
Found In: 8.0.100.03 | Fixed In: |
When using SIP Server, agents added to the conference call with the SingleStepConference
request do not show all parties on the call. (ER# 240466142)
