Corrections and Modifications
There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 7.6 release of DMX.
This release includes the following corrections and modifications that were made between Release 7.5 or earlier releases and the initial 7.6 release:
DMX now correctly processes H.245 transfers from non-digit DNs. Previously, if an OpenPhone endpoint registered a non-digit alias with DMX, then FACILITY
call transfers from that endpoint to any other DN would fail. (ER# 118515731)
DMX no longer exits abruptly after it completes a two-step call transfer from a Pingtel endpoint. (ER# 116842834)
DMX now properly processes SIP 301 Moved Permanently
and 302 Moved Temporarily
responses. (ER# 118665841)
This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.
DMX only supports inbound calls for Scenario One where DMX is deployed between the gateway/PSTN and SIP Server and functions as a proxy between SIP Server and the H.323 gateway.
Currently, this scenario does not support outbound calls. For more information about this deployment, see Scenario One in the DMX Deployment section of the SIP Server 7.6 Deployment Guide. (ER# 176857063)

A limitation for predictive calling occurs in the following scenario due to RTP timeout in H.323 Protocol:
TAgentSetReady
request.
TMakePredictiveCall
request is initiated on behalf of a routing point to an external number.
To avoid this scenario, Genesys recommends either of the following workarounds:

For third-party call control (3pcc) in scenarios where DMX is deployed as a proxy between two H.323 endpoints, only Flow 1 as described in RFC 3725 is supported. For the corresponding DNs, Genesys recommends changing the default value for the make-call-rfc3725-flow
option to 1
. This ensures that only the Flow 1 type of 3pcc is used. (ER# 192815291)
