Now unavailable objects are not marked as deleted on commit. You must uncheck unavailable objects explicitly, as they are not automatically deleted from the report layout. In previous 8.1 releases, unavailable objects, which are displayed in gray, were automatically deleted from the report layout and marked as deleted on commit, as DMA cannot distinguish between objects deleted from the Configuration Server and objects to which the currently logged in user does not have access. Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following correction and modification:

A memory leak has been fixed. Previously, DMA increased memory consumption on reading data from Configuration Server. (CCA-2204)

DMA no longer displays the warning message Your configuration contains a lot of objects of this type when individual objects are selected in the Report Layout Object Editor. (CCA-2204)

DMA no longer limits text length in the Filter Constructor Dialog Box. Previously, only text that fit within the editor box was allowed. (CCA-2202)

DMA no longer terminates unexpectedly when a user is trying to create New Layout Template and import statistic from another template. (CCA-2200)

Now DMA correctly retrieves a list of individual objects attached to a layout. Previously, DMA might lose an attached object if it was attached/detached multiple times. (CCA-2199)

Now DMA correctly reads/updates Report Layouts in case when individual objects are selected. Previously, reading/updating those layouts sometimes affected objects in other layouts. (CCA-2184)

Now DMA allows you to edit properties for a newly created StatType. Previously, the StatType Constructor dialog might not allow you to edit properties for a new StatType if the new StatType was created using the New From This context menu entry and the original StatType was used by some Templates. (CCA-2171)

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

During DMA installation on a Windows 2008 environment, you might see a DLL self-registration error. This message can be safely ignored. (ER# 284271931)

Found In:  7.6.100.01 Fixed In:

DMA may become unstable on the Windows XP platform when opening a Data Sourcer application that has a backup Data Sourcer application configured. (ER# 226784563)

Found In:  7.2.003.03 Fixed In:  7.6.100.01

After re-synchronizing with Stat Server, DMA may incorrectly set the CollectorDefault time profile to null. In this case, you must manually correct the time profile as follows:

(ER# 215606301)

Found In:  7.2.003.01 Fixed In:

At the Select DataSourcer Application screen, DMA displays only those Data Sourcer applications that are configured as primary applications. This is the intended behavior. Upon selection, DMA will automatically connect to both the specified primary and its associated backup. (ER# 114713789)

Found In:  7.2.001.01 Fixed In:

Data Sourcer informs DMA about DB Server disconnects, but it fails to inform DMA of its successful reconnection. As such, DMA displays errors, such as Cannot Execute SQL, when requests to display data are made. Restarting DMA will resolve this problem. (ER# 82639628)

Found In:  7.2.001.00 Fixed In:

The warning message that appears, when connection to DB Server is lost, requires a double-click operation to clear the message. (ER# 46734824)

Found In:  7.2.001.00 Fixed In:

When the connection to DB Server is lost, DMA may display a long error message that includes a failed query. (ER# 36203207)

Found In:  7.2.000.03 Fixed In:

When DMA is working with DB Server and becomes disconnected, DMA must be restarted. Otherwise, any operation with the ODS database may fail, including:

(ER# 22657142)

Found In:  7.1.000.04 Fixed In:

You may not be able to create custom report layouts while DMA is connected to a backup DB Server. Make sure that you create custom report layouts only when DMA is connected to the primary DB Server. (ER# 100307)

Found In:  7.0.200.03 Fixed In:

The keyboard shortcut for deleting custom Layout Templates does not work in this release. Instead, use the Delete menu item from the Edit menu to delete custom Layout Templates. (ER# 89839)

Found In:  7.0.100.07 Fixed In:

Under certain circumstances, DMA may allow the creation of a Layout Template containing a blank (null) name in the Report Layout Name field. Genesys recommends that you always specify non-null, default, report layout names for the Layout Templates you create. (ER# 89954)

Found In:  7.0.100.07 Fixed In:

DMA does not inform you when it loses its connection with Configuration Server. Furthermore, DMA does not attempt to connect to a backup Configuration Server, even if one has been specified. (ER# 94968)

Found In:  7.0.100.07 Fixed In:

Solution names, displayed as layout template attributes, may not correspond to the official Genesys Solution names. (ER# 62441)
