New in This Release

This release of T-Server is built with the T-Server Common Part (TSCP) release number 8.1.001.47. TSCP is the shared software that all T-Servers use. Consult the TSCP release note for information on changes to the Common Part that may affect the functionality of your particular type of T-Server.

This is a hot fix for this product. This release does not contain any new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

T-Server now generates an EventNotReady message for a change request in the agent mode while the agent remains in a NotReady state, if the switch reports a new reason code for the NotReady state. Previously, T-Server did not generate an EventNotReady message in this scenario. (ER# 306412046)

T-Server now correctly handles an issue with TApplyTreatment requests if a call was abandoned on the Routing Point after the treatment started. Previously, T-Server generated an EventError message for these TApplyTreatment requests for these abandoned calls. (ER# 305196439)

T-Server now generates a log message with the correct parameters. Previously, T-Server could become unstable after receiving a CSTA error message for a CSTA RouteEnable request when loading the values from the log file. (ER# 304910526)

Corrections and Modifications

This release also includes the following corrections and modifications:

T-Server now provides functionality to recover a Routing Point after an unsolicited failover. T-Server sends a request to enable routing on a failed Routing Point after the timeout that is specified by the new configuration option, enable-rp-tout. This configuration option is set in the TServer section of the T-Server Application object.

enable-rp-tout
Default Value: 0 (zero)
Valid Value: See the Timeout Value Format section in the Framework 8.0 T-Server for CSTA Connector Deployment Guide Wiki for more information.
Changes Take Effect: Immediately

Specifies the time interval that T-Server waits before enabling message routing on the Routing Point that has message routing disabled outside of T-Server control. When the value of this configuration option is set to 0 (zero), T-Server does not attempt to re-enable the Routing Point.

Previously, T-Server would not enable routing on a failed Routing Point.
