Configuration Manager no longer terminates unexpectedly when you change the name of a configuration option section in the Options tab. Previously, when you created a new section and added an option and its value, then opened the section Properties and changed the section name in the Properties dialog box, Configuration Manager terminated without saving the change when you tried to close the Properties dialog box. (MFWK-17036)

Default behavior of the Make New action when applied to a Person object with an auto-generated password requires that the System Administrator reset the password for each new user. It is now possible to configure Configuration Manager to clear the password fields for each new Person object. To accomplish this, use the new environment variable CME_MAKE_NEW_PASSWORD and set its value to EMPTY. (MFWK-16932)

When you use the Make New button to create new editable copies of Stat Servers, the SCEE021 error is no longer generated. Previously in this scenario, this error did not allow you to create new objects. (ER# 294592292)

When you are editing a Person object and press the Enter key, you now receive the same response as clicking on OK button on the display. Previously in this case, the cursor just advanced to the next editable field. (ER# 258930115)

You can now import Solution Templates from 7.x versions of Genesys Solutions using Configuration Manager 8.1.x. (ER# 251443301)
