The ability to perform a permissions-based search has been added to the
Find
command. This type of search enables you to identify for
which objects a User or Access group has permissions.
When a user logs in to Configuration Manager, the date and time when he or she last logged in can be displayed (if the feature is enabled in Configuration Server). This system security enhancement alerts users to unauthorized access to their system by someone else using a valid user�s account.
Tool tips have been added to toolbar buttons. When you move your mouse cursor over a button in the toolbar, the purpose of the button appears in a small popup display box.
You can now configure Role
configuration objects in
Configuration Manager. These objects are used in Genesys Adminstrator as part
of Role-Based Access Control, and are not used in Configuration Manager.

information about Role-Based Access Control.

Configuration Manager now supports Hierarchical Multi-Tenant environments, in which each Tenant can be a parent, child, or both. Refer to the Framework 8.0 Deployment Guide for more information about these multi-level environments.
The Change Password
option is not available in the
File
menu if external authentication is used.
You can now use Emergency Mode to restrict changes to the Configuration
Database. Only members of the Super Administrators
access group
can set this mode; and once in this mode, only they can make changes to the
Configuration Database.
In an Enterprise environment, the Disable
option is no
longer available for the Resources
folder.

in Configuration Manager, if you entered a starting range value longer than
six digits, the following error message was displayed Value must be

Configuration Manager now successfully creates a new T-Server with a secured port and high-availablity (HA) synchronization. Previously, Configuration Manager terminated without creating the T-Server. (ER# 176872983)
