New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ now sends the correct number of requests for statistics to Stat Server after a re-connection. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ could send duplicate requests to Stat Server. (CCPULSE-1551)

CCPulse+ no longer stops responding if the Workspace/SafeScriptingMode is set to true and actions use the CCPulseNotifier.ResetColor and CCPulseNotifier.Show methods. (CCPULSE-1550)

CCPulse+ can now successfully load a workspace with historical views if the database server is unavailable. Previously, CCPulse+ might generate the following errors:

(CCPULSE-1545)

CCPulse+ now successfully loads binary workspaces. Previously, CCPulse+ might stop responding while loading binary workspaces. (CCPULSE-1540)

CCPulse+ no longer attempts to connect to the backup Configuration Server after a connection to the primary Configuration Server is declined because of insufficient user permissions. Previously, CCPulse+ sometimes generated incorrect error messages. (CCPULSE-1538)

CCPulse+ now successfully creates log files if the options are set to a file path in the log options section, or if log segmentation is running. (CCPULSE-1536)

CCPulse+ now correctly closes workspace with V/AG dynamic membership views created for virtual agent groups. Previously, CCPulse+ might terminate unexpectedly while closing the workspaces. (CCPULSE-1535)

CCPulse+ now successfully opens statistics in the real-time view when it restores its connection to Stat Server. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ did not open statistics when it reconnected to Stat Server. (CCPULSE-1534)

CCPulse+ now displays user-defined colors for Current State Statistics in the root view for a particular state in the Pie, Doughnut, and Pyramid charts. Previously CCPulse+ incorrectly displayed alternate colors. (CCPULSE-1533)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the graph image in the Template Wizard. Previously, CCPulse+ sometimes incorrectly displayed the graph image in the Template Wizard if it used the same colors as the graphs that were already displayed in the views before you opened the Template Wizard. (CCPULSE-1532)

CCPulse+ now handles Expected Wait Time 2 as a statistic with a Time Duration value type. To see properly formatted values, you must update the existing view templates that contain this statistic, as follows:

  1. Open the workspace.
  2. Open the Template Wizard.
  3. Select the template containing the Expected Wait Time 2 statistic.
  4. Select Modify selected template and click Next.
  5. For each Expected Wait Time 2 statistic in the Requested Statistics list, open Properties, and change Format as desired.
  6. Save the template.
  7. Close and then reopen workspace.
(CCPULSE-1521, ER# 324913162)

CCPulse+ no longer displays the Tabbed Document item in the context menu when the window cannot be converted to a tabbed document. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ displayed an inactive menu item. (CCPULSE-1310, ER# 305447462)

CCPulse+ now displays data from the correct time interval in historical reports when weekly aggregation mode is used. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ sometimes displayed data from the wrong time interval. (CCPULSE-1292, ER# 301087421)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the Peek button as inactive in historical views. Previously, CCPulse+ displayed the Peek button as active, even though it was not intended for historical views. (CCPULSE-1251, ER# 290397140)

The CCPulse+ formula processing no longer creates a memory leak. (CCPULSE-1242, ER# 288795739)

On the Graph page of Template Wizard, CCPulse+ now supports statistic names with non-English characters. (CCPULSE-1134, ER# 269319530)

CCPulse+ now recalculates formulas only when the value of a statistic is updated. Previously, when you pressed the Peak Statistics button in a view that contained several formulas, CCPulse+ unnecessarily recalculated all of the formulas. (CCPULSE-744, ER# 238515691)

Corrections and Modifications

Supported Operating Systems

The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.

New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains the following new features or functionality:

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

If the root element of the Tree View is selected in a Report View Pane, graphs now contain alternating colors that you can set in the Graph view section of the Settings dialog box by changing the values of Graph Color 1 through Graph Color 10 options. Previously, the Pie, Doughnut, and Pyramid charts were painted in similar shades of the same color. (ER# 324929011)

CCPulse+ can now read data files from earlier releases that were saved in different storage file formats. Binary data files and XML files written by this release cannot be opened in earlier releases of the program. Workspaces in release 7.x format that are saved in this release can be opened in earlier releases with the following exceptions:

(ER# 324512679)

CCPulse+ no longer creates log files unless you configure it to collect them. Previously, CCPulse+ might fail when it attempted to create log files if the user did not have permission to write to the CCPulse+ directory (for example, if the UAC was running). (ER# 324042324)

CCPulse+ now confirms that pointers are valid while opening a workspace. Previously, CCPulse+ might have failed and the dump file included the following incorrect instruction: CallCenter!CCfgObjectDef::GetTenantDbid+4 (ER# 324026389)

You can now successfully open a legacy workspace that contains Places objects and was saved as XML format. Previously in this scenario, the following errors were generated:

(ER# 323764104)

When you reopen a template that was saved with an historical association, CCPulse+ now correctly defaults to the set value for the Storage.DefaultStorageType option. Previously, CCPulse+ lost the user-defined historical association for statistics that was previously set by user. (ER# 323674474)

CCPulse+ users can now set a column width to less than a row height in the Grid View. (ER# 318914599)

CCPulse+ now displays a menu bar in full-screen mode. Changing to Full Screen mode does not mark the workspace as modified. Previously, CCPulse+ did not display a menu bar in full-screen mode.

Note: CCPulse+ does not save the layout of the windows, toolbars, and menu bars when you are finished using full-screen mode.

(ER# 313599468)

CCPulse+ now displays object and Statistic Group titles in Historical view when the first statistic of that group is hidden. (ER# 290193613)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains the following new feature or functionality:

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ now continues to hide records that were hidden by one threshold when a second threshold is applied twice to a statistic. Previously in this scenario, the records that were hidden by the first threshold were incorrectly displayed again. (ER# 323141823)

CCPulse+ now correctly loads workspaces that were saved in a previous release. Previously in some scenarios, CCPulse+ might have failed while loading a workspace. (ER# 322252109)

CCPulse+ now displays in the Extended Status pane all Reason Codes for agents when the Extended Status is monitored for the Agent Group. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ sometimes did not show all of the Reason Codes. (ER# 322202751)

Delayed actions are now functional. Previously starting with release 8.0.101.20, delayed actions did not properly function. (ER# 321856411)

The ResetColor action now works correctly and returns the message Action ResetColor is deprecated. Previously, ResetColor action returned a Script Error message. (ER# 321763848)

You can now use the Status Display Property page in the Settings dialog box to define colors. Previously, you could use the Status Colors Property page, which is now removed. (ER# 320365601)

CCPulse+ now preserves the order of views in the View pane when you save or load a workspace. Previously, CCPulse+ saved the views in the order of the view windows from bottom-to-top. (ER# 320006331)

CCPulse+ now closes the DB Server connection if it is not used for more than 10 minutes. Previously, CCPulse+ did not close the DB Server connection when it was not used for over 10 minutes. (ER# 318961437)

The startup time for CCPulse+ was improved. Previously, in large and complex configuration environments, CCPulse+ might take a long time to initialize. (ER# 318187270)

CCPulse+ now displays by default only hardware or software reason codes, without User Data. A new CCPulse+ option, ReasonCodeData, in the [CustomStatistic] section enables you to control which values are displayed.

ReasonCodeData
Valid Values: Hardware; Software; Userdata

Separate with semicolons the values to be displayed. Enter all three values if you use User Data values with reason codes in Formulas or to display them in the Extended Status window or in a view.

Previously, starting with release 8.0.000.41, CCPulse+ appended some values from User Data to the reason codes. (ER# 317914454)

CCPulse+ now correctly restores table row visibility while loading workspaces that were stored in release 7.x. Previously, CCPulse+ might incorrectly restore table row visibility in cases when some statistics were hidden by the Template Wizard. (ER# 315369914)

CCPulse+ now allows you to open the real-time view for members of a group of routing points if you select only the Routing Point check box in the Template Wizard. Previously, if you selected only the Routing Point check box, you could not open the real-time view for members of a group of routing points. (ER# 246361512)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix for this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ now provides correct AverageTime statistics values to thresholds and actions. Previously, only the first most significant digit of AverageTime statistics values was sent. (ER# 318468491)

To improve performance of 3D charts in large workspaces, OpenGL is now supported for drawing 3D charts. OpenGL improves CPU usage for views with large numbers of 3D charts by factor of 4, though with the possible drawback of additional memory consumption. To use OpenGL, you must configure the new UseOpenGL configuration option to enable it.

UseOpenGL
Section: [Performance]
Valid Values: true, false
Default Value: false
Changes Take Effect: After restart

(ER# 318474151)

CCPulse+ might consume excessive CPU processing bandwidth when 3D Charts with large number of points are displayed. To address this issue, CCPulse+ now automatically changes the Chart type from 3D to 2D when the number of points grows larger than the limit you specify in a new CCPulse+ configuration option, MaxChartPointsFor3d.

MaxChartPointsFor3d
Section: [Performance]
Valid Values: Positive integers
Default Value: 40
Changes Take Effect: After restart

The charts are automatically switched back to 3D when the number of points becomes less than or equal to 80% of the MaxChartPointsFor3d value. The default value for MaxChartPointsFor3d is 40, but if you want further performance improvements, you can lower this value. (ER# 311195143)

CCPulse+ now preserves the order in which tabs appear when saving or loading a workspace, with two specific exceptions that are documented in the Known Issues section (ER# 320006331, 317153756)

Changes to the tab order now activate the Save button and Save menu item. Previously, if you changed the tab order and made no other changes to the workspace, then the Save menu item and Save button remained disabled. (ER# 317239100)

CCPulse+ now includes significant performance improvements for workspaces with dynamic real-time views, especially those views with large numbers of actions and thresholds.

For additional performance improvements of up to 3 to 4 times faster processing, set the CCPulse+ SafeScriptingMode configuration option (in the Workspace section) to False. For optimal performance, set the SafeScriptingMode option to True only when necessary. (ER# 311566175)

CCPulse+ now displays only templates related to Agents and Agent Groups on the real-time V/AG dynamic membership view. Previously, all available templates were listed, including those not related to Agents or Agent Groups . (ER# 310844918)

In the Template Wizard, CCPulse+ now functions correctly when you enter a Statistic Alias with a space at the end of the name. Previously, CCPulse+ automatically moved the cursor back to the beginning of the field after encountering the space. (ER# 309971427)

On the Extended Status pane, CCPulse+ now correctly displays reason codes that might be attached to multiple actions only once. Previously, CCPulse+ repeated the same reason code if it was attached to different actions. For example, the same reason code is attached to the LoggedIn and WaitForNextCall actions, so CCPulse+ previously would list that same reason code each time one of the associated actions occurred. (ER# 309521831)

CCPulse+ now provides additional GUI controls in the Save as HTML dialog box:

(ER# 271869980)

There are no restrictions on this release. This release contains no new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

If you have certain types of thresholds (for example Hide for LoggedOut Agents) applied to views saved in CCPulse+ release 7.5.x and earlier, they are now processed correctly in the Grid view when you open the workspace. (ER# 315956305)

CCPulse+ now requires significantly less time and fewer CPU resources when creating a workspace that has many virtual agent group dynamic views. (ER# 315917645)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays an agent only once in the following scenario:

Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ terminated unexpectedly. (ER# 315353271)

Tooltips are now displayed correctly when you move the mouse over the Pie or Doughnut chart containing a single data point (for example, when one value covers the whole Pie chart). (ER# 315288353)

CCPulse+ users no longer experience a Windows GDI resource leak when repeatedly opening and then closing a specific workspace. Nor do CCPulse+ users now observe some memory leakage if a very active workspace containing virtual agent group views is running for an extended period of time. (ER# 315218993)

CCPulse+ no longer unexpectedly includes incorrect data from a previous version of the chart in a Pie or Doughnut chart (for example, an Agent status statistics chart). (ER# 315198403)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays agent names configured by the FormatAgentInfo windows registry option on real-time views created on Stat Server virtual groups. Previously, CCPulse+ did not fully display first and last names for agents listed in a real-time view when it was created for a virtual group. (ER# 313468881)

CCPulse+ can now connect to Configuration Server, Stat Server or DB Server if several network interfaces are installed on a single computer. Note that if you use CCPulse+ with virtual machines, you might need to restart both the CCPulse+ host machine and the host for the virtual machine after configuring network parameters. (ER# 311467847)

The Save menu item and button no longer stay disabled if you close a view and make no other changes to the workspace. (ER# 308135169)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of CCPulse+.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ no longer takes excessive time and CPU resources to open a real-time view for the agent groups with a large number of agents. (ER# 312720833)

CCPulse+ now successfully sorts the grid rows if a row is removed. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ sometimes terminated unexpectedly. (ER# 312706512)

CCPulse+ now accepts user input while it reconnects and updates all objects and views in the workspace. Previously for large workspaces in this scenario, CCPulse+ might block user input for excessive time. (ER# 312341451)

CCPulse+ now correctly determines the agent logged-in status and displays the membership in the dynamic views for blended media scenarios. Previously, CCPulse+ might incorrectly exclude agents with a logged-in status or display agents with a logged-out status in these dynamic views. (ER# 311278641)

CCPulse+ now correctly updates the axis labels when the chart values are updated. Previously in some scenarios for some graph types, CCPulse+ did not synchronize the axis labels with the chart update. (ER# 312210912)

CCPulse+ now displays the Reason Code for the CurrentState category statistics for agents in the CCPulse+ view. Previously, CCPulse+ did not display the Reason Code. (ER# 310845391)

CCPulse+ now sorts the CurrentState category statistics in the grid by State, Reason, and Time. Previously, CCPulse+ did not take into account the Reasons for sorting.

Note: The grid sorting frequency is determined by the GridSortingInterval option in CCPulse+ settings, which is set to 60 by default.

(ER# 289411197)

CCPulse+ now correctly generates the image files for Graph views. These images are stored as PNG files. Previously in some scenarios, CCPulse+ might not generate the image files for the Graph views. (ER# 288801439)

Supported Operating Systems

The operating systems supported by this release are listed in the Contents, above.

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This release contains no new features or functionality.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ now automatically attempts to pick a different chart type than the type that is selected in the Template Wizard to improve visibility of the data in the following historical view cases:

  1. To improve performance of big datasets, CCPulse+ only shows 2D bar and 2D column charts. 3D bars are replaced with 2D bars and all other charts are replaced with 2D columns.
  2. If the view contains more than one object in the root Graph view, CCPulse+ only shows charts as Stacked Column or Stacked Bar.
(ER# 311497906)

CCPulse+ no longer displays a chart in the negative quadrants when there are no negative values. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ might display the chart in the negative quadrants. (ER# 311292733)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the grid lines according to the setting that is selected in the Template Wizard, except as defined in the following scenarios:

(ER# 311292731)

CCPulse+ now establishes a connection to Stat Server, DB Server, or Configuration Server differently than it did in releases 8.0.100.16 or lower, as described in the following scenarios:

After a successful initial connection to a server (Stat Server, Configuration Server, or DB Server), if CCPulse+ is forced to reconnect (for example, due to connection failure, a server being down, or a switchover), CCPulse+ tries to reconnect to that server for a configured number of attempts without prompting you. The DB Server connection is closed about 10 minutes after the last historical view uses it. The next time the DB Server is needed, CCPulse+ follows the initial connection procedure to DB Server described above. (ER# 311156736)

CCPulse+ now correctly re-subscribes to update notifications from the Configuration Server and processes them when it is forced to reconnect to the backup Configuration Server (proxy). Configuration changes that occurred while CCPulse+ was re-connecting are not captured or shown in CCPulse+ unless you re-open the workspace. Previously, CCPulse+ did not re-register for object notifications upon reconnection and was not updated on object configuration changes in the following scenario:

(ER# 311058399)

CCPulse+ now correctly restores the View window positions when you open a workspace. Previously, all the View window positions saved to the workspace in the Workbook mode were lost after you opened the workspace. (ER# 273619635, 265333128)

CCPulse+ now ignores you clicking on the toolbar while it loads a workspace. Previously, CCPulse+ sometimes terminated unexpectedly when you repeatedly clicked on the toolbar while it loaded a workspace. (ER# 309856112)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays values in the Integer format. Previously, CCPulse+ displayed only the first digit of a value for some categories of statistics. (ER# 309527398)

CCPulse+ now correctly removes logged out agents from the Stat Server CCPulse+ real-time V/AG dynamic membership when the value of the UseStatServerVirtualGroups option is set to true. Previously, logged out CCPulse+ agents remained displayed in these Dynamic Views. (ER# 309527236)

CCPulse+ now uses the String format for the CurrentAgentTargetState statistic. Previously, CCPulse+ used the Integer format and displayed n/a for this statistic. (ER# 309169199)

CCPulse+ now correctly processes values for AverageTime statistics. Previously, CCPulse+ displayed an incorrect value if the value of a statistic was in exponential format; for example, for 1.200000000000e+001, CCPulse+ displayed 1 instead of 12. (ER# 309020241)

CCPulse+ now more correctly processes application names that contain a * symbol in the Login dialog. The * symbol in an application name acts as a wildcard, enabling Configuration Server to return multiple objects.

In this scenario:

  1. CCPulse+ attempts to define the object that exactly matches the specified application name.
  2. If no exact match is found, CCPulse+ uses the first object that is returned by Configuration Server.

Previously, CCPulse+ terminated unexpectedly if you included * in the application name. (ER# 308966733)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the status reasons in the Extended Status pane. Previously, CCPulse+ displayed n/a as the status reason. (ER# 308821476)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the agent skills in the Extended Status pane when the agent's Employee ID differs from the agent's User Name. Previously, CCPulse+ only displayed the agent skills when the agent's Employee ID and User Name were identical. (ER# 308821441)

CCPulse+ now correctly applies the threshold to the Dynamic View if the workspace was saved when the Virtual Agent Group was empty. (ER# 308827215)

CCPulse+ now correctly loads user-defined color sets from the registry when it starts. Previously, CCPulse+ used only grey for all statuses. (ER# 308827211)

CCPulse+ now correctly restores visibility of the Tree, Table, and Graph views when you open a workspace that was saved with hidden views. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ restored the hidden views with an incorrect size. (ER# 308135165)

CCPulse+ now provides a Dynamic View implemented as follows:

Previously, CCPulse+ erred while processing the Dynamic View, which sometimes cause the workspace to freeze or terminate unexpectedly. (ER# 299994506)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the Extended Status view when you move the mouse over it in the case when the Auto Hide option is enabled. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ did not display the Extended Status view. (ER# 297836475)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of CCPulse+.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

When you open a workspace created in CCPulse+ 7.5, CCPulse+ 8.0 now correctly hides the rows you hid in CCPulse+ 7.5. Previously, all hidden rows you saved in a 7.5 workspace became visible after opening the workspace in CCPulse+ 8.0. (ER# 306913962)

CCPulse+ now correctly starts when connecting to an instance of Configuration Server or Stat Server located on the same host. Previously, it frequently encountered a timeout in this scenario and froze instead of starting. (ER# 306129221)

CCPulse+ now successfully changes skills for Virtual Agent Groups. Previously, CCPulse+ might fail if a view for a skill-based Virtual Agent Group existed and the skills defining this Virtual Agent Group changed. (ER# 303763786)

The scale of a graph is now automatically adjusted when statistics decrease. Previously, the scale of a graph would increase correctly, but would not decrease. (ER# 303151418)

Display of a Pyramid chart that contains values equal to zero no longer causes CCPulse+ to terminate unexpectedly. (ER# 302357351)

CCPulse+ no longer prints hidden rows and columns or displays them in the Print Preview. (ER# 302317627)

CCPulse+ no longer shows capacity values as if they were time values. (ER# 300106250)

Now when you exit Workbook mode, the View windows are displayed in their previous sizes and positions. Previously when you exited Workbook mode, they reverted to the default size and location. (ER# 299068335)

When working with historical views, CCPulse+ now successfully handles empty results from the DB server. Previously in such situations, CCPulse+ might become unresponsive, not show the historical view or not show statistics on the Historical Association tab in the Template Wizard. (ER# 298099027, 294535328, 285885949)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the size and color of the slices in a Pie or Doughnut chart when one of its values changes to 0. Previously, such a change caused the Pie or Doughnut chart slice to persist in its previous state; it was not refreshed with updated values or resized with the rest of the chart. (ER# 297810057, 295812998)

CCPulse+ now successfully reconnects to the backup Configuration Server if the primary Configuration Server fails or switches over. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ could not reconnect to the backup Configuration Server and reported the incorrect number of reconnection attempts in the status bar. (ER# 297159535)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays Agent Skills and Agent Login ID in the Extended Status window when appropriate options are set to true. Previously, the UserInterface\ShowAgentSkills and UserInterface\ShowAgentLoginID options failed to function correctly. (ER# 295367406)

Users with empty passwords can now successfully log in to CCPulse+. Previously in releases 8.0.100.16 and 8.0.100.25, CCPulse+ returned the following error: Some required parameter is missing. Please fill all required login parameters. (ER# 295141823)

CCPulse+ now performs the following actions when a statistic value changes:

  1. CCPulse+ calculates all appropriate thresholds.
  2. CCPulse+ checks if any thresholds for the previous statistic value result in a false value, in which case CCPulse+ cancels the respective actions.
  3. CCPulse+ checks if any thresholds for the changed statistic value result in a true value, in which case CCPulse+ executes all the expected actions.
The previously implemented behavior of the threshold action engine was incorrect. (ER# 294199384)

CCPulse+ now applies thresholds in the order in which they appear in the Threshold/Action Association dialog box. You can change the order of the thresholds. Previously, sorting by name was used as the order to apply thresholds. (ER# 292776918)

CCPulse+ now attempts to maximize the chart plot space and dynamically hide labels and titles in order to successfully display the chart in a small area. Previously, charts might be displayed incorrectly; for example, the chart was too small or the graph title and axis overlapped. (ER# 287268931)

CCPulse+ graph titles no longer overlap when long strings are used for graph titles and the graph view displays 10 or more graph diagrams. (ER# 283580124)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the panes when a user switches to Full Screen mode. Previously in this scenario, CCPulse+ might hide or change the position of panes. (ER# 268731491)

CCPulse+ now correctly saves the current view when Save as HTML is invoked, allowing Graph images to be viewed in Internet Explorer. Previously, the image files had the wrong file extension and could not be viewed. (ER# 293411380)

CCPulse+ now addresses network connection problems that previously prevented the reception of data from Stat Server in certain cases and resulted in statistics values of N/A. (ER# 292517200)

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

CCPulse+ no longer fails if workspaces are repeatedly opened. (ER# 281530921)

Previously, under certain circumstances, CCPulse+ thresholds might not have worked properly. This has been corrected. (ER# 287101240)

Previously, CCPulse+ color actions might disappear in real-time V/AG dynamic membership view after 10 seconds. This has been corrected. (ER# 275997630)

CCPulse+ now correctly sorts the status column according to duration with logged out agents being placed at the bottom of the table. (ER# 281934318)

Previously, CCPulse+ might have tried to open statistics with the wrong parameter, in the case where the category was ServiceFactor1, Time Range field was valid, and Time Range 1 field was configured as Not Applied. This has been corrected. (ER# 277892331)

CCPulse+ now provides more informative messages when connection errors occur with Stat Server. (ER# 277282878)

Previously, CCPulse+ might have sorted items differently depending on which view you were using, Table View or Tree View. This was especially true when the text contained characters from Eastern and Asian languages, such as Japanese. This has been corrected. (ER# 279983041)

Previously, CCPulse+ might output empty table items when a view with hidden columns was saved as HTML. This has been corrected. (ER# 271976274)

CCPulse+ no longer allows any operations to perform until the saving or opening of the workspace has completed. (ER# 277282667)

CCPulse+ now correctly handles closing the application when it is initiated to do so during an operation, such as opening or saving the workspace. (ER# 276886549)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the background and text color in Table View as configured under Settings. (ER# 273512327)

CCPulse+ no longer prevents long workspace names containing Japanese characters. (ER# 277986758)

Previously, when multiple media types were available in the agent group, CCPulse+ might have computed the agent group capacity incorrectly. This has been corrected. (ER# 270950021)

CCPulse+ has improved the updating logic in Table View. Previously, the Table View was updated each time a value in CCPulse+ changed which resulted in the workspace hanging. (ER# 269197211)

Previously, CCPulse+ was unable to load templates that had been saved in XML format, if those templates contained statistics with a time range applied. This has been corrected. (ER# 268959122)

CCPulse+ now correctly handles ADDP for Configuration Server connections. (ER# 268748721)

Previously, while in real-time V/A dynamic membership view, CCPulse+ might produce incorrect sorting results when sorting on Agent Presentation Name in Table View. This has been corrected. (ER# 243288635)

CCPulse+ now restores the Objects Pane after deactivation from Full Screen mode to Window mode. Previously, the CCPulse+ Capacity Window seemed to disappear when you switched from Full Screen mode to Window mode. (ER# 238038611)

Previously, CCPulse+ might not restore the visibility of an object in Table View when a hide action associated with a threshold had been cancelled. This has been corrected. (ER# 186221427)

New in This Release

This is a hot fix release for this product. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of CCPulse+.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

Previously, CCPulse+ may have terminated unexpectedly if a new operation was initiated (using the New icon on the toolbar or the File > New menu option) during the saving or loading of a workspace. CCPulse+ icons and menu items are now inactive until the workspace has completed loading or saving. This allows the workspace to complete all processes before any new operations can be started. (ER# 279204515)

CCPulse+ now closes correctly when requested to do so (using the window X button, the File > Close All, or the File > Exit menu options) while another operation is being performed, such as opening or saving a workspace. Previously, in this scenario, CCPulse+ might not have closed and an exception may have been generated similar to the following:

CCPulse+ - [Workspace] - AgentView - View 8: CallCenter.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x72e5317c" referenced memory at "0x0000000". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.

(ER# 279153487)

When CCPulse+ is unable to establish a connection to Stat Server, the correct exception message is now generated:

Connection to the specified Stat Server
(host:<host>, port:<port>)
cannot be established.
Error Type: Operation timed out..
Error Type and empty Stat Server host and port information. (ER# 279204533)

Customers who obtained this software release prior to that date and need support for Windows 2008 must download Build 3 from the Genesys Software Download website.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications:

Uninstalling CCPulse+ silently no longer causes a Microsoft Windows startup error message. In the previous build of this version, released on 04/27/2011, after performing a silent uninstall of CCPulse+ and restarting Microsoft Windows, an error message similar to the following appeared during startup:

Windows cannot find C:\PROGRA~1\INSTAL~\<Prod GUID>\setup.exe.
Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.

(ER# 272402256)

CCPulse+ now creates a real-time view with Virtual Agent Group (VAG) dynamic membership, based on a Stat Server dynamic group (LoggedIn) that correctly tracks the group's membership, even if the group was empty when the view was created. (ER#s 271476236, 269542676)

CCPulse+ no longer generates a fatal error if the Agent format string specified via the registry value HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GCTI\CallCenter\CUSTOM DEFINITION\FormatAgentInfo leads to non-unique agent names. (ER# 268277231)

With this release of CCPulse+, you can now use various symbols in statistic names. Previously, when you attempted to use these symbols, the following error message appeared:

A name cannot contain any of the following characters: ^ & * + = | \ [ ] : ; , ? " / < >
(ER# 260177811)

CCPulse+ now sorts numeric values correctly. Previously, in the Table View, CCPulse+ sorted using a lexical algorithm which put, for instance, 12 before 9. (ER# 256799528)

CCPulse+ now correctly clears threshold action results in the historical view. Previously, it did not clear all these results. (ER# 260093792)

CCPulse+ now evaluates a given threshold immediately after the threshold is applied. Previously, when a threshold was applied to statistics from any category (except the CurrentState category), it took a change in the current statistical value to activate the threshold. (ER# 260462621)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates after displaying a message box generated from a threshold or action script. Previously, it could experience a fatal error in this circumstance. (ER# 261077092)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the status name for DN state objects used in formulas. Previously in certain cases, the status name might not appear. (ER# 262681686)

CCPulse+ now remains stable when you create a view that includes an agent who belongs to multiple agent groups. Previously in this case, a fatal error might arise. (ER# 264350954)

CCPulse+ now generates HTML files for export using UTF-8 encoding, allowing the correct display for various national character sets. Previously, exported HTML files might omit certain characters from some character sets. (ER# 264815464)

CCPulse+ now displays items ordered correctly by time in the Historical View. Previously in that view, items appeared out of time order. (ER# 264959261)

CCPulse+ now remains stable after you modify Table View properties. Previously, modifying these properties might cause CCPulse+ to close unexpectedly. (ER# 265314318)

CCPulse+ now remains stable if you create a real-time view with Agent Dynamic membership. Previously, this situation might prompt a fatal error. (ER# 266596419)

CCPulse+ now supports query timeouts if you are using Configuration Server 8.0 and Configuration Manager 8.0.200.x or later. A query timeout is configured in the Data Mart Database Access Point. (ER# 250927110)

CCPulse+ now properly establishes a connection with a heavily-loaded DB Server that is shared between CCPulse+ and other Genesys applications. Previously, CCPulse+ generated an error message containing the text Registration with the DB Server failed. (ER# 246034924)

CCPulse+ now makes recently imported templates available to the Workspace that is currently loaded. (ER# 243720233)

CCPulse+ Workbook may now be stored in the Windows registry. (ER# 254857939)

CCPulse+ may now store, load, and show thresholds applied to particular objects. (ER# 255835153, ER# 255835159)

CCPulse+ 8.x now saves changes made to definitions for existing formulas and definitions of new formulas when the Binary or XML template storage format is used. (ER# 259358711)

CCPulse+ now correctly handles the DisableRowColVisibilityChange option. (ER# 259123673)

CCPulse+ no longer incorrectly generates a (-1.#IND00000) value in formulas when the formula uses a statistic value of zero or an invalid value. (ER# 256331555)

CCPulse+ no longer incorrectly loads workspaces when the WorkspaceAutoLoad option is set to a value of true. (ER# 256500491)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly or generates unexpected errors when attempting to create an historical view. As well, the DATAMART database now contains data that was previously missing for some statistics configured in the template used to create views. (ER# 260136786)

CCPulse+ no longer terminates unexpectedly when an application specified connection with a Database Access Point is configured without a DB Server application. (ER# 259759416)

CCPulse+ no longer propagates certain thresholds, that are applied to one object in the view, or to all objects in the view when a Workspace is loaded from the Binary or XML storage formats. (ER# 256329826)

CCPulse+ 8.0.x can automatically hide rows that were previously hidden and saved in a CCPulse+ 7.5.x Workspace. (ER# 258543704)

CCPulse+ now correctly formats a floating point number and duration values that are generated as the result of a formula evaluation. (ER# 258358408, ER# 258358381)

CCPulse+ now correctly handles the DisableHideShowActionsOnGraph option. (ER# 259123680)

The cfx4032.ocx file is now properly registered by the installation wizard on Windows Vista. (ER# 258976955)

New in This Release

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.0 release of CCPulse+.

Corrections and Modifications

This release includes the following corrections and modifications that were made between Release 7.5 or earlier releases and the initial 8.0 release:

CCPulse+ now correctly displays statistics and the Dynamic virtual agent group (VAG) membership view window when the connection to Stat Server is not available. In previous releases, when a view was activated (or Workspace was opened) while the connection to Stat Server was not available, you would see empty or "N/A" statistics, and the Dynamic VAG membership view window may not have of appeared at all. (ER# 246114558)

In previous releases, when uninstalling CCPulse+, the CfgSvr.ocx file was incorrectly unregistered by the installation wizard, causing other Genesys applications, such as Outbound Contact Manager, to not start. This release corrects this issue. (ER# 209353410)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the grid’s column title and sorting direction indicator (either the up or down arrow) simultaneously during view sorting. In previous releases of CCPulse+, the column title was replaced by the sorting direction indicator when the grid was sorted by column title. (ER# 62975)

CCPulse+ now correctly displays the About CCPulse+ screen, which you can access from the Help menu. In previous releases, CCPulse+ displayed the incorrect release number. (ER# 209043931)

Unlike previous releases of CCPulse+, which used a single window (with tabs) to display the Extended Status Window and the Capacity Window, the current release uses a separate window for each. (ER# 241654120)

Known Issues and Recommendations

This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product.

After switching to the backup Stat Server, CCPulse+ displays an incorrect n/a status of a statistic in the console window if it is absent on the backup Stat Server, but present on the primary Stat Server. Select the statistic view to display the correct details. (CCPULSE-1542)

Found In: 8.0.101.34 Fixed In:

On graphs drawn for the integer type of statistics, CCPulse+ might display Y-axis marks corresponding to non-integer values. (CCPULSE-1524, ER# 325267063)

Found In: 8.0.101.34 Fixed In:

CCPulse+ does not correct support notification frequency in change-based statistics. CCPulse+ sets a default value for the notification frequency to 60 seconds for time-related statistics. (CCPULSE-1413, ER# 313605751)

Found In: 8.0.101.34 Fixed In:

CCPulse+ does not start if the security banner is configured with the AckMandatory registry option set to 1 and if the document pointed to by the URLs cannot be retrieved or rendered for any reason. You must set AckMandatory to 0 or remove the security banner setting from the registry. (CCPULSE-1271, ER# 295979531)

Found In: 8.0.101.34 Fixed In:

You no longer can change the height of individual rows in the Table view. CCPulse+ is now lightweight with faster grid control. You can use Properties in the context menu on the table header to change the height of all rows or use Settings to change the font properties. (CCPULSE-1128, ER# 268899978)

Found In: 8.0.101.34 Fixed In:

You cannot sort within historical views. Sorting in historical views makes the data unreadable. (CCPULSE-1077, ER# 264140322)
