Configuring options

Before you begin to create on-demand reports by using Genesys Administrator Extension, you should:

Configuring Business Start of Week

License Reporting uses a calendar for its date ranges and granularity. For accurate reporting, the Business Week Start option must indicate if your business week starts on Sunday or Monday. After it has been configured, the License Utilization Reporting calendar will adjust automatically to your business week for all reports.

To configure your Business Week Start Day:

  1. In the header, click Preferences gear icon and then System Preferences.
  2. In the Category drop-down list, select Locale.
  3. In the Start of Week option, select the day on which your business week begins (Sunday or Monday).
  4. You can optionally change additional settings including Language, Date Format, Number Format, and Time Zone.
  5. Click Save to save your changes, or click Cancel to cancel your changes and leave the option unchanged.

Configuring License Type

Configure LRM to report using either enabled or concurrent as the license type. For details about enabled seats and concurrent seats, see the LRM User's Guide available at http://docs.genesyslab.com/Documentation/LRM. When reporting with enabled seats, only enabled seat information is shown. When reporting with concurrent seats, both the enabled and concurrent seat information are shown. By default, LRM reports using concurrent seats.

To change the operations type:

  1. Use either Genesys Administrator or Configuration Manager to open the GAX Application object.
  2. Create a new lrm section.
  3. Create a new license_type option and set the value to either concurrent or enabled.

Configuring Operation Type

Configure LRM to operate in either hosted mode or compliance mode. When operating in hosted mode, all LRM features are available. When operating in compliance mode, the following features are not available:

By default, LRM operates in compliance mode.

To change the operations type:

  1. Use either Genesys Administrator or Configuration Manager to open the GAX Application object.
  2. Create a new lrm section.
  3. Create a new operation_type option and set the value to either hosted or compliance.

Enabling Agent and Place Group Usage

Configure LRM to collect and display the agent group and place group usage information. By default, LRM does not collect any agent group or place group information.

To enable or disable agent group or place group collection:

  1. Use either Genesys Administrator or Configuration Manager to open the LRM application object.
  2. Open the lrm section.
  3. Create or modify the agentgroup_enabled or placegroup_enabled option and set the value to either true or false.
  4. Open the GAX application object.
  5. Create a new lrm section.
  6. Create a new agentgroup_enabled or placegroup_enabled option and set the value to either true or false.
