Generating On-Demand Reports

License Reporting in Genesys Administrator Extension generates the following types of reports:

Note: Before you generate any reports, you should configure the Business Week Start option and other formatting options under Preferences gear icon in the header.

Generating a Tenant Report

To generate a Tenant Report:

  1. In the header, go to Reports > Entitled counts and peaks. The Filters screen is displayed. This is where you define the parameters of the report.
  2. Click in the From field to open a calendar control from which you can select a starting date for the report.
  3. Click in the To field to open a calendar control from which you can select an ending date for the report.
  4. Select the granularity for the report from the Granularity drop-down list.
    Note: If you select Week or Month, the dates that are selected in the Start Date and End Date fields are normalized.
  5. Select the Tenant type to generate a license-utilization report for the selected tenants.
    1. In the Tenants field, click Browse. The Tenants panel is displayed to the right.
    2. Select the check box that is displayed beside each tenant that you want to include in the report.
      Note: If you do not select any tenants, the report is generated for all tenants.
  6. Select whether your report is for Sellable Items or Bundles, and then select the set of sellable items or bundles that you want to include in the report:
    1. In the Count On field, choose either Sellable Items or Bundles.
    2. In the Sellable Items or Bundles field (determined by what you chose in the previous step), click Browse. The Sellable Items or Bundles panel is displayed to the right.
    3. Select the check box that is displayed beside each item that you want to include in the report.
  7. Click Create Report. The report is displayed in the panel that is displayed on the right.

Generating a System Report

You must be a Service Provider Administrator to generate a System Report.

To create a System Report:

  1. In the header, go to Reports > Entitled counts and peaks. The Filters screen is displayed. This is where you define the parameters of the report.
  2. Click in the From field to open a calendar control from which you can select a starting date for the report.
  3. Click in the To field to open a calendar control from which you can select an ending date for the report.
  4. Select the granularity for the report from the Granularity drop-down list.
    Note: If you select Week or Month, the dates that are selected in the Start Date and End Date fields are normalized.
  5. Select the System type for the report from the Type drop-down list to generate a report on all license utilizations at the system level.
  6. Select the Sellable Items that you want to include in the report:
    1. In the Sellable Items field, click Browse. The Sellable Items panel is displayed to the right.
    2. Select the check box that is displayed beside each tenant that you want to include in the report.
  7. Click Create Report. The report is displayed in the panel that is displayed to the right.

Generating an Agent Group or Place Group Report

To generate an Agent Group or Place Group Report:

  1. In the header, go to Reports > Entitled counts and peaks. The Filters screen is displayed. This is where you define the parameters of the report.
  2. Click in the From field to open a calendar control from which you can select a starting date for the report.
  3. Click in the To field to open a calendar control from which you can select an ending date for the report.
  4. Select the granularity for the report from the Granularity drop-down list.
    Note: If you select Week or Month, the dates that are selected in the Start Date and End Date fields are normalized.
  5. Select the Agent Group or Place Group type for the report from the Type drop-down list:
  6. Select the set of sellable items that you want to include in the report:
    1. In the Sellable Items field, click Browse. The Sellable Items panel is displayed to the right.
    2. Select the check box that is displayed beside each item that you want to include in the report.
  7. Click Create Report. The report is displayed in the panel that is displayed on the right.
