What's New
This release contains the following new features and enhancements:
- WebChat and ChannelSelector widgets provide improved behavior on desktop browsers, as the scrollbar can now be used to scroll the Widget's content accordingly.
- Proactive chat invites to customers will now be suppressed if the user is already using one of the widgets. Previously, when registering for a chat, the proactive chat offer would occasionally appear again causing multiple forms to be open on the page at the same time.
- Web Engagement tracking information is now added to user data of Web Email Interactions
- Widgets can now subscribe to new chat messages notifications over .CometD channel. When enabled, this feature replaces the periodic polling of messages towards Genesys Mobile Services node. In this release, the file transfer functionality is not available when CometD is enabled. A new cometD parameter has been added into WebChatService configuration to control this functionality.
Resolved Issues
This release contains the following resolved issues:
Corrected issue where POST requests for the CallBack widget had an unterminated boundary string in the request content. Previously, the Web Application Firewall blocked post data requests. (CXW-847)
