Migrating Contact Services Extensions

You can also migrate Context Services extension metadata and extension content to UCS by running a MigrateExtensions job in GDPS. Note that you must migrate Profiles (contacts) before running the MigrateExtensions job.

Parameters Descriptions

The following parameter is mandatory:

  • -p UCS9_PROTOCOL http— the ESP protocol is not supported.

The following parameters may be needed according to your UCS 9.1 configuration:

  • -p UCS9_BASE_URL <URL>—Mandatory if the option base-url in section [http] is configured in the UCS application. Then the same value must be provided here to perform the migration.
  • -p UCS9_USER <user for authentication>—Mandatory if authentication is enabled in the UCS application. It must be a user who exists in Configuration Server.
  • -p UCS9_PWD <password for authentication>—Password of the user used for authentication.
