Billing Data Server
The Known Issues and Recommendations section is a cumulative list for all 9.0.x releases of Billing Data Server. This section provides the latest information on known issues and recommendations associated with this product. It includes information on when individual items were found and, if applicable, corrected. The Resolved Issues section for each release describes the corrections and may list additional issues that were corrected without first being documented as Known Issues.

The special character '}' (right curly brace) in Genesys Info Mart (GIM) DB password cause issues for BDS.
Workaround: Genesys recommends to avoid using the curly braces in your database passwords.

In some scenarios, values are incorrectly calculated for the following metrics: seats_inbound_voice, seats_outbound, and seats_voice.

In scenarios where BDS cannot access the config.json file for any reason (for example, the file is missing, contains invalid json, or has incorrect file permissions), BDS closes, displaying an error message in the output console, but without writing an error in the log.

In scenarios where a database query is executed by BDS and subsequently terminated on the DBMS side, the BDS process sometimes stops due to an assert raised in the pyodbc library, and writes an entry at the end of the BDS log similar to the following:
