Using the Softphone

The Adapter provides a simple and intuitive SoftPhone. The SoftPhone is displayed to you if you are:

  • using a machine that has the Adapter installed
  • assigned to an appropriate contact center

This SoftPhone appears when you click the VCC261 SoftPhone.png icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

The first time that you open the SoftPhone, you must change your SoftPhone status to Ready before you can accept calls. The following topics explain more about how you can manage your calls:
