Installing the Gplus Adapter

Gplus Adapter for Salesforce is a soft phone that can be embedded in your Salesforce sales or service console or be accessed in a separate window that is launched from a Phone icon. The standard adapter has a fixed size and therefore the features and functionality is designed for a small screen space.

Important
Only SFDC users with administrative privileges can make updates to soft phone settings.

To install the Gplus Adapter:

  1. Log into Salesforce and then navigate to the Install Package URL.
  2. Select All Users.
  3. After the installation is complete, go to Set-up.
  4. Expand the Customize tab, and then click Call Center.
  5. Click Manage Call Centers.
  6. Locate Genesys Gplus for Salesforce.
  7. Click Edit > Actions.
  8. Copy the following value and paste it into the CTI Adapter URL field:
    https://premier.angel.com/ui/crm-adapter/index.html?crm=salesforce
  9. Click Save.

If you use Sandbox, use this URL in Step 1: https://<sandboxURL>/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04to0000000C3VD.
